We have been picking up our dinners here for over a decade. My favourite's the Half Slab Ribs, while Hubby loves his Gyros Combo. Recent years, with medical conditions, I switched to Gyros Combos as well. All was perfect, food's awesome, service awesome, until last weekend. Went to pick up the usual gyros combo for Hubby, his mom was with me, I decided to go for Grilled Chicken with Fried Zucchinis, while my mother-in-law wanted just a plain Chicken Dinner as her tummy wasn't well that day. The usual sweet lady at the window was not there. Instead, there was a man who seemed unwelcoming and impatient. After we got our food, we went home happy. However, all we got that day was awful. Hubby's gyros seemed different, my grilled chicken and fried zucchini were tasteless. You know, like cooking food without salt and seasoning, and my mother-in-law got barbecue chicken when we had ordered plain. We had to toss our food away as they were inedible. Especially my sad chicken. It was sadder than hospital food. I was disappointed coz King Gyros was my favourite restaurant. We have been picking up food from here regularly for over a decade, and have recommended it to everyone we know! We are now not so sure if we should go back there again, and that's pretty heartbreaking as we picked up from here like once or twice a week for years! 😞💔

Thank you for my sauerkraut sandwich. The 2 small slivers of corned beef definitely did not qualify it as a Reuden sandwich!!!!! 👎.

The owner is a great guy. You don't go hungry when ordering one of there dinners!
Its definitely hit or miss they dont always change the fryer grease as they should so at times the greases just soaks in, however if u catch them on the right day the food cant be beat

I've always loved the food here, it's one of my staple places to go for lunch. The staff are always friendly, and even gave me a discount once when I pointed out an error in their menu. Update: just came back here after a few years, place is just as great, they've got even more on their gyros, makes me almost wish I lived in Anderson still.
