I’m really not sure where all the great reviews came from. Gave this place a try based on the reviews and average score. Maybe we caught them at a bad time. My ribs were cold. My wife’s tenderloin was all fat and gristle. Bun tasted like it was 2 months old. I hate to slam them after just one visit but it left much to be desired. Proceed with caution is all I’ll say.

Stopped by this place in Anderson. Food was delicious! Wings were really good and that little Alien Egg that’s cream cheese, shredded cheese, jalapeño, brisket, wrapped in bacon was great! Good people!

Picked up a pulled chicken, pulled pork and brisket. All was excellent but the brisket was hands down the best I've ever had. Very good place to eat.
I was so pleasantly surprised by my first experience visiting Nerdy BBQ. Firstly, the BBQ here is fantastic and among the best I have had. We tried the spicy chicken wings, pork ribs, pulled pork, alien eggs(bacon wrapped smoked jalapeno stuffed with brisket), BBQ queso, fries, mac and cheese and coleslaw. We also tried the banana pudding for dessert. Secondly, Travis was an excellent host who welcomed us, and treated us like family. We were very grateful for his pleasant and welcoming demeanor, and his willingness to make our visit extra special.All the meat was top notch, well rubbed and smoked, and the sides were great! We came home with lots of leftovers and made plans to return to try more of their menu. Thank you! Thank you!

The brisket was decent, but the pulled pork was fantastic. Juicy and flavorful, definitely worth it. Sadly, they were out of a few options that we were looking for, like the Mac and cheese and Alien eggs. My wife and I did not enjoy what they called pork belly burnt ends. Didn't seem caramelized at all and the sauce was kind of bland and runny. Wish we had just had two servings of pulled pork rather than pay $2 extra for it. I would definitely recommend the place, and would definitely return if ever in the area again

Been there a couple times now, and I absolutely love this place! They have a couple classic Nintendo consoles set up with a variety of games, the Marvel, Star Wars and wrestling merch they have as decor is so cool, very nice employees (shout out to Jack) and where do I even begin with the food?! The first time, I got a pulled pork and brisket platter with baked beans and mac and cheese. Everything was amazing, but the brisket and mac and cheese especially touched my soul! And then today I got a tenderloin with mac and cheese topping and tried the fries. The fries were solid, I'm not normally a fry guy, but the BBQ sauce helped, and they were seasoned well! The tenderloin was amazing, you wouldn't think mac and cheese would be good as a topping, but it hit so different! The tenderloin was slightly gristlely, still very good but keep that in mind. I especially like the fact there are cups and lids for you to get what sauces you want! As someone who mainly gets takeout, that is such a nice feature! The BBQ sauce is from another galaxy it's so good!I haven't tried the Carolina yet though. I'm gonna be a regular here for a long time!

Ribs, pulled pork, baked beans and slaw were all FANTASTIC!! Baked beans were superior to any I’ve had before. Definitely recommend!!! A++
