It has a great atmosphere, and the staff are on point. The food was delicious, and the spirits were generous. Had a really good time. Very chilled and relaxing environment.
This place was fantastic! The food was sooo good! We got the chicken bacon ranch pizza, cheese curds, kicken chicken sandwich and mini corn dogs! 10/10! Their website wasn’t working when we planned our trip so I was not sure how it all worked! You order your drinks and food at the bar. We went around 230 on a Saturday so it was slower but I know others have said it could be a long wait so just be prepared! Bartender was awesome! Food came out separately as it was ready which i appreciate because it’s not sitting under lamps. Definitely will be back!
Went in and spent 35 minutes waiting in line, finally get to the bar to order and they don’t have any of the drinks we’ve seen online and were told it will be at least an hour wait for the food. The guy said “some travel blogger posted online and now everyone asking about drinks we don’t have.” There were only two people working and the place was crowded. Everything was a mess, not a single clean table in the place, the bar was cluttered with empty drinks. We ended up finding somewhere else to go… and we drove from 1.5 hours away to be here. Staff your place appropriately.
If you are going as an individual and have time to waste, not so bad. If you are going as a group, forget it!!! We called 6 months in advance to request a tour and lunch for our group. I called again 2 months before we arrived and again 3 weeks before we arrived and even gave them our individual orders for our 28 meals in writing in advance..
I called them 2 weeks before we arrived to make sure everything was still on and found out the person in charge was no longer there. So I talked to Lisa Oakley who assured me she had it "under control". She assured me she had the preordered meals paperwork and we would have a tour followed by lunch when we arrived.
I called again three days out and Lisa told me everything would go as planned when we arrived. The day we arrived, I called Lisa and found out she was at her kids ball game but "we were in good hands". Yeah, well, maybe...IF she had communicated with her staff and IF she had ensured sufficient staffing.
We got there and there was one cook, one waiter, and one bartender. No tour happened when we first got there. Instead, they put us in a very long line to tell the bartender/cashier what we wanted to eat and drink. And why? I had already sent that to Lisa. So we stood in line painstakingly waiting for the (nice) guy to slowly ring in our order and type in what we wanted on our sandwiches, etc. But why? All that detail was written very clearly on the paper file I sent Lisa. She even had a digital file with the same info. So after 30 min of standing in line, we were finally able to sit down to wait.
My husband & I were nearly the last one to receive our meal 1 hour and 35 minutes later! Another member of our group got her order 1 hour 45 min later, so she just told them to put it in a to go bag.
What about the tour Lisa promised? After we were all done eating, I asked the waiter/manager when we were going to have the tour. He looked at me with total confusion, telling me he knew nothing about a tour but could give us one....and he did. The tour was great.
Meanwhile, I texted Lisa and complained that the meal took forever, there was not enough staffing, they didn't even know about a tour, the prices that we had agreed upon (in writing,) was not what they charged any of us, and what the heck?
She showed up after we were nearly on our way out, while we were buying some whiskey bottles. She "apologized" but offered no solution to being so late, charging us all too much for our lunches, etc. Her only solution was to give our group another tour right then. Are you kidding me? Another tour? You cheated us on pricing, made us wait a very long time for lunch, and that is your solution?? She didn't even offer us a free bottle or anything. We got a 20% discount on bottles to take with us....the same 20% discount any group gets for going there and getting a tour/tasting.
So like I said, if you have lots of time with nothing else to do with your time, try this place out...but don't even think about dealing with Lisa.Oakley, the one Oakley brother's wife.
To your reply below:
We ordered our meals months in advance and the prices were agreed upon. What we were charged was NOT what we agreed upon...without any add-ons. And does it seem normal to you that we would all stand in line for half an hour to order what we ordered IN ADVANCE IN WRITING? And does it seem normal to you that it would take 1.5 hours to receive our actual meal..especially when you had our order in advance? If so, you are in the wrong business..stick to alcohol and not food. And you are right, few of our group drink. So no, I never expected a free bottle for each of us! One free bottle...ONE free bottle total would/could have been the least you could have done when you overcharged us. As for extra sides, NO ONE asked for free sides. After we got there and saw we had to place our order AGAIN,
Great atmosphere and the staff were knowledgeable about the menu. They have a great selection of spirits and food. It's family owned and family friendly.
Nice people and great drinks!
What a great atmosphere, killer staff and really unique place, that has a unique view on spirits, with new small batch amazing tales on original greats! Love this place.
This place has really gone down hill
My Sister-in-law planned my rehearsal dinner here and it was such a wonderful time. The staff were attentive, fun and very focused on making sure we were well taken care of. Plus food was pretty dang good!Definitely coming back again whenever possible!

Great place. Loved the drinks and sampled several of the liquors and purchased a bottle of the Hell or Rye Water. Very cool building . We will be back.
Amazing service, super interesting cocktails, delicious pizzas and apps, fun atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back.
I’ve been coming here since the beginning, before they had all the additions. I will never come back. New bartender, new cook. Flatbreads took an hour to come out and when they did, they were undercooked and the cheese on one wasn’t melted. The old fashioned is the reason I wanted to visit while in town. We would have had better luck at Applebees; it was terrible. I mentioned the food was terrible as we left half of two separate flatbreads on the table. “Oh, I’m sorry to hear that.” Still left an 18% tip because morally I can’t leave less. The bartender is sweet and polite, but the quality of food and drinks have declined from my last experience. Response is everything, the response of the staff when we told them food was awful is why we will not be back.
Got there early before tasting time. Didn't matter as the lady that I think was a manager talked us through everything and suggested things to try. She really knows the history of the outfit. We were disappointed that some of the good stuff was sold out so we could not try, but what we did try was good.
