We were looking for a halfway point to meet our son for lunch today and discovered this gem. The owners were friendly, and the food was outstanding. Between the three of us, we sampled six different sliders and loved every one. Don't let the humble building keep you from discovering a new favorite!

Sunset Waffles is a one-of-a-kind dining experience! Fred and Michele are the kindest people. My family was coming from various locations to meet up for a birthday celebration. When I found Sunset Waffles, it seemed like the perfect spot based on the reviews I had read. Unfortunately, it was closed the evening we were planning to meet. However, after talking with Michele on the phone, she and her husband Fred, opened their restaurant for our family group even on a night they were supposed to be closed! They gave us our own private family birthday party complete with balloons, banner, and leis for the three birthday people!The food itself was delicious! I had the peanut crusted chicken with the homemade peanut butter honey sauce on the herb waffle and it was incredible. Everyone loved their sandwich selections. We wanted to try them all and will be back for sure. We had the reverse s’mores for dessert which were amazing as well as the stuffed cookies. It seemed like the kind of food that would win one of the cooking competitions we always watch on TV.We can’t wait to return to try more of their food selections. But even greater than the food is the heart and spirit of generosity of the owners who went out of their way so that my family could make a special memory together when they didn’t even know who we were!Go to Sunset Waffles – you will not regret it!

My partner and I had a wonderful experience at Sunset Waffles. We were in Anderson for the solar eclipse, and we had scoped out this place in advance. We were lucky to get there on Sunday evening before they closed. The owners are so sweet, and the food was AMAZING. I had the Elvis (the chocolate waffle was the perfect choice) and my boyfriend had the Sunrise. Both phenomenal. We're only sad they won't be open for the remainder of our time in Anderson, or we'd definitely be back!

This is not your normal restaurant. I highly recommend trying Sunset Waffles! Don't expect breakfast when you see it. The sandwiches and sides were excellent, great service, reasonably priced & so many options of food to choose from. We will definitely return!
