Even though the power was out the staff did everything to make us feel welcome and glad we decided to stay!!! Even though we were disappointed that most items were unavailable due to the power outage but decided to try different things Mikaya did everything to make our visit wonderful! 4 of the 6 of our party had never been to McGees and they were delighted by the whole experience! A fun time was had by all!!

We enjoy the ambiance, food and service at this delightful restaurant. It gives the feeling of being in Ireland and I enjoy watching those of Irish descent singing along when there is live entertainment.

A nice Irish pub. Visited Sat March 16th. Went for the corn beef and cabbage. Sadly a big disappointment. Food was terrible. Corn beef tasted like it was heavily salted and ruined taste. Cabbage was mixed with mashed potatoes, yuk Wife's corn beef was a solid lump and not editable . Food was prepared ahead of time and arrive with our appetizers. Service was take your order and never to be seen again. Appetizers were good, mushrooms and Dragon Eggs. We would go back for the pub experience and possible pub grub. However, meal and service I would not recommend.

We have been coming to McGees for about ten year now, ever since we moved to Anderson. We first heard about it from a neighbor, and fell in love with the place our first visit. The food is always great, and some of the specials are truly outstanding. The entertainment is always top quality, with just enough variety that it never becomes boring. Being a big fan of Irish music it was great to find a venue that features it so close to home.

Server was great. Checked on us just the right amount. Food was excellent, as always. Wait was minimal. Noise level was as expected for a restaurant/pub atmosphere on a crowded Saturday night. Will come again!

McGee's Irish Pub & Restaurant is a great place! Family run business. Great food and service. Their burgers are top notch, as are the Fish 'N Chips, and many other entrees. 'Live' music on Friday nights. Always awesome!

Food is always incredible. Prime Rib was perfect! Jake was very attentive without being too intrusive. He remembered our drink orders from our last visit. Music was wonderful and just the right volume. Always our favorite place to go!

The food was absolutely delicious. My wife got the bangers and mash, and I got the tavern burger. She was a little weirded out that there were fried apples in the mash as she doesn't like certain things to mix. I on the other hand thought it was delicious. She still very much enjoyed it, she just removed the "dessert" from her dinner. The tavern burger was very flavorful and cooked exactly as they asked me. The waitress was amazing. She was very helpful with recommendations and was very attentive. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful experience. Our server was friendly & attentive and we comfortable and enjoyed our time there. The food was delicious with generous portions. We enjoyed the live music, loud enough but not too much. We left after dinner and had drinks somewhere else but then came back that same evening for dessert and more music. Highly recommend!

Mcgees was terrific! Guinness of course on tap was cold and delicious. Mushroom app was perfect. Bar made us a lemondrop martini that was excellent. Shrimp and grits as good as could be. Shepards pie as good as could be ! Great old pub ambiance!Great service from Brittany! We will be back soon!
We took our adult children to McGee's to celebrate my husband's birthday, and it was quiet for a Saturday night. The food was excellent! Best steak I have had in quite a while. Server was kind and helpful; charming, but not intrusive.

Although McGee's is an Irish Pub, their more upscale entrees are excellent! Had the duck breast and it was outstanding, cooked correctly with great accompaniments. The food servers was a true gem - polite, accurate and timely - made the evening. The band which started at 8:30 on the outside patio was just amazing!! Could not imagine a better night out! Keep it up!

We love McGee's! We drive from Simpsonville at least once a month to specifically come here. When we heard that Seven Nations was stopping by, we were in! Been fans of theirs for over 20 yrs; but we're bigger fans of McGees! Always a friendly place and great meals!

First time dining here. Nice ambiance, low noise level, but it was fairly early on a Saturday evening. Sat in the bar area and the bartender was our server. He was honest enough to tell us it was his first week on the job so he wasn't very familiar with the menu, but there were other more experienced staff there so any questions we had were answered. I had the shepherds pie, and while the presentation was interesting the taste was quite satisfactory. Not as good as my own, but adequate. Wife's fish and chips were good and the serving was large. Will definitely be back to try the weekend brunch.

Our first time here and we will definitely be back! We both had fish and chips. It was very good and the portion size was generous. The bourbon pecan pie was amazing AND it was served warm - which is the only way to serve pecan pie! Our server was great!
