“We decided to try this location instead of our usual McAlister's. We ordered our food and sat down. When our food arrived, one of the employees (I'm thinking it was the manager) apologized for it taking so long. Mind you, it was not very long at all considering our order was for a family of 4! He explained that the oven they use to bake their potatoes wasn't working correctly, and they had to microwave them to finish the cooking process. He apologized profusely and offered some freebies to us. We decided on a dessert- brookies it was!My thought was it was completely unnecessary. It wasn't that long of a wait to begin with. But for him to head off any potential unhappy customers shows the type of leadership quality that McAlister's is lucky to have - whether we realized or not there was something not meeting McAlister's quality standards.In closing, I hope the people above him in the foodchain read this and know, APPRECIATE, and show him that he is a valuable asset to their company. His value to not only that location, but McAlister's as a company is worth it's weight in gold. I very rarely give 5 star ratings on here but HE earned that 5th star for being a great leader.“

“I recently savored the Tasty Supreme pizza from Tasty Pizza in Waterloo, Indiana, customizing it without green peppers for my first trial. The experience was nothing short of delightful. Right from the first bite, the crust impressed me with its perfect bake and texture. The toppings were cooked to perfection, each ingredient melding harmoniously while retaining its distinct taste.What stood out the most was the sauce — it had a unique flavor profile that set this pizza apart from others I’ve tried. Despite the older, somewhat worn appearance of the building, the quality and taste of the pizza spoke volumes about the family tradition of making "Pizza Fantastic Since 1958!" It’s a testament to not judging a book by its cover, or in this case, a pizzeria by its facade.I’m already looking forward to my next visit and would highly recommend Tasty Pizza to anyone looking for a top-notch pizza experience in Waterloo. “I had steak fihitos which came with your choice of tortias. I chose flour which seemed to be very old they were like matted together and I couldn't pull them apart without being ripped. The steak had a lot of fat in it which made chewing the steak impossible. There were three bad mistakes that were made by the waitress. Mistake#1The drinks were mixed up, we had gone out to eat with another couple, she orders a Dr.Pepper, and my wife ordered a diet coke, but when she brought the drinks she had them mixed up so we had to have her bring us new drinks. Mistake#2 I had told the waitress to put my sour cream on a side dish and not on my food, we'll guess what.When she brought my food out there it was like a big scoop of ice-cream when I confronted her about it all she could say was I told them. Mistake#3 When the waitress came up to our table to take our order she accidentally hit our chip sauce and it splashed all around on the table which I know she saw but didn't clean up.They had the music to where you couldn't hear it, should of had dimmer lights colorful, and the tables to close together. One thing I think restaurants need to understand if you don't have a lot of people coming in you don't need a lot of tables set up. I still left a good tip.“
