We went for ice cream two different times while camping at Patoka. I always heard about the humongous cones, but never saw one for myself. We will definitely make the small drive to Birdseye when we're camping. It's worth it.
Nice place for some ice cream. Beware if you ask for a fork with your food. They will grab the fork (not by the handle end) with their hands and give it to you. So the person that has been handling money and who knows what else, touched your utensil. So Gross.
Great, friendly, accommodating workers. AMAZING ice cream (not sure it can be beat), and a lovely chill relaxed area to eat outside with the nature
Kid-friendliness: Amazing with children - my kiddo decided he wanted some fudge in his ice cream after the fact of us paying and getting/tasting it, and they gave it to him free of charge which was not only super amazingly sweet of them since nowhere seems to do that anymore, but also very helpful for this momma so very much...
