Ginger red beard Paul Bunyan bartender Ask me to leave after 2 hours of being there and spending a lot of money and buying regulars drinks I was asked to leave because someone handed me their ID because I was standing by the front door and he thought I was the bouncer so I played it off looked at their ID and they came in they were older then me im 45 but anyway I think Paul Bunyan seen me talking to a few ladies and started to feel some type of way, and asked me to leave I was having a blast up until he asked me to leave the premises This could have been a regular thing this bar could have made a little bit more money in the future off of me because I was surely having a good time but it's no thing but a chicken wang there are more watering holes in this town. ✌️

Visiting from Florida and can barely make it to any other places downtown because as soon as we see the alley bar we decide that’s the best place to stop in, less crowded, immaculate service, and our guy Bailey is always there to welcome us with a smile. I cannot recommend this place enough. Definitely worth the stop!

The Alley Bar is the "Cheers" of Bloomington. We are lucky to have it and it's always a fun place to hang out. The staff is friendly and they have the best Bloody Mary's in town. Love this place!

If you want a place that feels like family, alley bar is the place. Been coming for over 10 years and no matter who’s working I have great service. If you wanna have the Midwest dive bar experience (cheap beer, pull tabs, great patrons) this is the spot. They always have whatever sports game you want playing, free snacks, and there’s a touchtunes jukebox even though it’s a small bar. The GM Bailey is such a nice guy, and makes the best old fashioned in town! Come root for IU here and you won’t be disappointed.

This was a great place to eat! We have never been here before. We were just visiting some friends and they said that this was a great place for some awesome food. We were just killing time and we ate some appetizers and they were delicious. The soup with sausage inside of it was amazing. Very hot and delicious.
