“This is a great low key place to get some amazing Korean food. This time I got the ttukbaegi bulgogi (hot stone bowl beef bulgogi) and it was sooo good. The broth was seasoned perfectly with a hint of sweetness. The beef, noodles and rice cakes were cooked perfect. Loved the Bachman, especially the fish cake and yellow radish. Would definitely order again.”

“By far the best Korean food in town. It’s none of that “Asian fusion” crap that you usually get in Indiana - this store is run by a sweet old Korean lady who knows how to cook. I highly recommend their Pork Bulgogi with the Ssam, or Bulgogi Fries. Also their prices are reasonable and service times extremely fast (10 minutes only).

The only complaint is that the location and dine-in could use work. It’s not in the best location, and the interior atmosphere is a touch awkward. Still very good food though!”

Very good, but I think the beets (fewer perhaps) should’ve been chopped into smaller pieces with more strawberries and greenery. Very filling. I had the roasted eggplant for my entree. Wonderfully seasoned, served over a bed of white rice. I would definitely get it again. My desert choice was the blueberry cheesecake. Scrumptious! The staff was very friendly and efficient. Will definitely go back. Nice outdoor patio area as well. Thumbs up!”

“Dunkin Donuts in Bloomington Indiana sucks! They don't understand English. They will give you the wrong donuts. They sell stale donuts. When you get the wrong donuts through the drive thru and get home to find they screwed up your order they are rude and ill-mannered about fixing THEIR mistake. They actually want you to drive back their mistake so they can resale the donuts to another unsuspecting customer. You don't know where their donuts have been since they break the law by reselling these donuts people return to them. They don't have a sign at the drive thru, saying what kinds of donuts they have, So you have to describe them. Since they don't speak proper English they guess at what you are ordering. I don't know how they got powdered sugar from me saying chocolate icing. When you call them you can expect the run around and rudeness. Trust me when I say there are better gas station and grocery store donuts in Bloomington and from now on that is where I will get my donuts.”

The parking lot here can be a little congested and difficult but my food is always fresh and as long as that manager is working it's fast pace and food is warm and delivery is quick.”

Service is non-existent to off-putting but you just need to ignore that here and know about going in.”

“Korea Restaurant has a pretty predictable but large menu of gimbap, various soups, bulgogi, bibimbap, hotpot, KFC, teriyaki, and more, with some Japanese-style dishes in addition to the Korean. This restaurant, like the others on this street, is in a converted house, and the environment is comfortable and unpretentious. They had K-pop music videos playing on a TV in the dining room. There was an older man and a woman serving together; the woman was very sweet, the man came off as quite serious.
I ordered the tofu hot stone bibimbap which also came with an assortment of banchan. None of the food really stood out to me but it was all pretty good. I definitely would've liked more tofu in the bibimbap, but I did appreciate that it seemed to be lightly pan-fried rather than deep-fried. With hot sauce added, the bowl was very flavourful but not too salty. The vegetables were all cooked well and the fried egg also had nice crispy edges. The portion was filling, especially with the banchan. The bibimbap came out literally seconds after the banchan, so I was a little worried it would get cold before I had the chance to eat the banchan, but the stone bowl kept it nice and hot until the last bite.
I would say this is an okay place for vegetarians/vegans since they do have a number of entrees that I believe should be vegetarian or vegan (more if you remove the egg), but they don't label which dishes are vegetarian, so you might have to ask questions about hidden meat/seafood ingredients if you're not familiar with Korean food. If you are vegetarian, let them know when you order, because even though the bibimbap I ordered was vegetarian, some of the banchan (fishcakes and likely the kimchi) contained seafood.
The overall experience was positive but not outstanding in terms of the food or atmosphere, so while I might return if I'm craving Korean, I want to try other Korean places in the neighbourhood first to see what else is out there.”

“We knew from our first meal at Scenic View that it would be a favorite. Our family of four went on a summer Saturday at around 11am and, while there were definitely plenty of people there, we were surprised that it wasn't busier. We sat inside but could have happily eaten outdoors and may do that next time we visit. I wouldn't recommend eating here if you are in any sort of a hurry as the food did take quite a while to come out of the kitchen, but it was absolutely worth the wait.

We ordered generously, including the way better than expected fried pickles and very good spinach and artichoke dip. Both came out super hot and very fresh and were way better than what we get at most places around Bloomington. My mother ordered a crock of the French onion soup and was surprised to receive such a large portion of great quality soup. All of our entrees were prepared perfectly and just much better than we expected, including breakfast, sandwiches, and burgers. Two of us are vegetarians, and we loved having multiple menu options to pick from rather than the usual one menu item (or the classic salad and fries combo).

This restaurant could easily coast on average food due to its great location, but instead they really seem to take pride in putting out a great meal. It wasn't a cheap meal, but every dish was generously portioned, freshly prepared, and really worth the price. We'll be happy to be repeat customers.”

“Pizza X is arguably my favorite pizza joint in town. They have a lot of different toppings as well as different sauces to choose from. My favorite thing to do is create my own pizza, usually with a pesto sauce, chicken, Roma tomatoes, banana peppers, pineapple, spinach, and bacon. Because I can make any weird combination I like, haha. Most recently I had the nacho man Randy sausage featured pizza of the month and it was really good, and even aesthetically pleasing. They load toppings well, and never disappoint. Their nacho cheese is my absolute favorite to get from any pizza place. After trying to eat it I just gave up not wanted to be a bad customer and make my two adult friends uncomfortable. I just paid the bill $70.+and gave the server Emily a $20. tip. My friend ordered one of her usuals but the sauce was not what she normally gets. We were told that the cooks sometimes use whatever is available and finally just sent out a replacement with NO sauce. She finally just gave up and ate whatever she ordered. The third friend her husband avoided the situation. We finally gave up and I paid the bill with my Sky Miles AMEX card total $90.+ We came into the restaurant probably around 7:30 or 8pm. Sorry for the bother but it bothered me I've lived here since 1972.”

“Ever since SK opened in Bloomington I have been coming to this location weekly/bi-weekly to buy smoothies for me/co-workers. They are without fail delicious and ready for me to pickup within 10 or so minutes.

Pedro (who I believe is the manager but I am unsure) always seems to be there when I am and is always a nice friendly face to run into.
