“3-25-24 I'm in town once a year, and UpTown has become a must stop. Warm atmosphere, and incredible service (Thanks Madison!). Had the surf n' turf special. Steak (most tender I've had in ages), 2 big shrimp, and a delicious crab cake. Asparagus for the side, which was awesome. Madison was kind enough to get me a little taste of the Jalapeño grits. YUM, but I couldn't actually eat a whole side. All the food was delicious. The menu had lots to offer. One of our party has dietary restrictions, and Madison was not only able to accommodate, but knew the menu inside and out and gave some great advice. Thank you to Madison and team for helping turn a great meal into a memorable evening.“
“I’m obsessed with the doughnuts and I’m not even vegan. They’re unlike any cake doughnuts I’ve ever had, and the icing flavors are so good and unique, especially the fruity ones. I spend so much money here every-time I’m in Bloomington. The hand pies are also amazing if you want something more filling or protein dense.“
“I have been to similar concept establishment. I like this because I was able to tell the name of pizza I wanted. The hot honey topping was amazing addition and very yummy. The warm chocolate chip cookies were definitely an added bonus. I would go back for sure.“
“Met a friend today at Needmore Coffee and while I normally don't write reviews other than full restaurant experiences, I thought I'd write a short review because they earned it. Then I spent 30 minutes trying to figure out the name of my drink, and no luck. So I'll say this: Needmore is a cute little shop near the Bloomington College Mall, not a lot of seating but a cozy feel. The drink I ordered was delish but again I have no idea what it's called. It's toasted marshmallow and some other things. You'll know it when you're looking at the menu. I also had a cinnamon muffin that was really good. The issue that made me write this review was simply how nice the barista was as well as the guy who took my order. I actually wanted an iced toasted whatever this is called, but didn't say that. 100% my fault. But when I picked up my order and mentioned it they offered to let me keep this one and make a new one for me. I declined (honestly I had second thoughts while at my table looking at how gloomy it was outside and that I wished I had ordered hot) - maybe they read my mind. Either way, great coffee, neat place, I recommend. Thanks to the staff, they were very gracious and friendly.“

Coffee is quality stuff, the pastries available are to die for (if you have the chance, get the tomato galette) and the staff is just the most awesome people. They will take time to talk to you and be really friendly (I think that's a plus, some other reviewers don't). I could literally talk for days with them. Good place to work, sturdy tables and good light.“
“100% gluten free cafe…and it’s GOOD! Tons of options from cookies to sandwiches to muffins and biscuits. And a full coffee bar too. We had biscuits & gravy and a latte. We brought our toddler and it was a great atmosphere. One of the owners even brought out a fruit cup for our little guy. Had a great experience and will definitely be back! 10/10“
“This is quaint little restaurant in Bloomington that serves both Tibetan and Indian food. The food and samosa as appetizers was very delicious. The staff were very prompt and polite. We had a pleasurable experience here after our New Year Day’s hike and trail run. The restaurant is well-decorated and food is authentic. Highly suggest this place for dinner dates.Parking: We found free street parking in front of the restaurant on a Monday. Other days you should pay for the parking using coins and parking meter.“

I'm not a full-time vegetarian, but I've never been disappointed with anything I've gotten here, and it's helping encourage me to reduce my meat consumption overall with such yummy inspirational dishes! Plus, the atmosphere is really pleasant- it's not too big of a dining room, so it's not too loud, and I've always gotten great service!“

The Chocolate Moose is a Bloomington staple and should be visited anytime your in town or frequently as a resident.“

“I ordered a custom cake for my daughter’s 3rd birthday, and it was absolutely amazing! She loves dinosaurs so I went with triceratops. It’s carrot cake on the inside, and it is the best carrot cake I’ve ever had everyone, especially and including my daughter, loved it!“
“Went into the college mall location today. First time ever going and was not disappointed. The options are a little overwhelming, but we were waited on by an extremely patient and kind person named Juno who helped walk us through all the choices. Food was great, staff was great, an overall A+ experience. I do wish that the company let us tip the staff via the card reader. Luckily I found I had a little surprise cash on me, but was initially a little distressed that I wouldn't be able to show my gratitude for the outstanding service we received.“

The cheese and mushroom slices were delicious, just the right amount of pizza one should eat… NY Style ?. “Because I frequent the establishment weekly I am critical. Food is great, atmosphere is a lot of fun but the service is brutal. Maybe hiring bartenders that service the clientele versus acting like a patron would be a nice step. If their that busy they should consider hiring wait staff to assist the bartenders but regardless it is frustrating to wait 20 to 30 minutes to order when it's a Thursday afternoon at 4:00. Just saying..“
“Our family loves Two Sticks Bakery! The treats are the best and the people are amazing! The chocolate chip cookies are *incredible* and you must try the cinnamon rolls and scones! And the espresso drinks are *top notch*. Choose to go early for the best selection and experience other bakery enthusiasts eagerly awaiting their turn (we love this part!) or go a little later in the morning to zip in and out.
