“An impromptu date night with jazz. My husband & I decided to find a venue with food since our fav downtown only serves snacks. We were blessed because not only was a New Orleans brass band playing but we had an amazing three course meal with a perfect seat at the end of the bar. The food was divine. “Ordered two pizzas and a salad last night through DoorDash. I hadn’t tried Azzip or even heard of it yet but the specialty pizzas looked interesting so I gave it a shot. Wow. Azzip is going on my list of favorite pizza 💯 I tried the Smokehouse MacDaddy and CBR square. Flavor explosion and perfect crust on both! I also tried the house ranch dressing and it was top notch. I need a bottle of it! I rarely leave reviews but had to say something about this pizza!“

“Homey but upscale atmosphere at the same time. Quite busy when I went but they fit us in even tho our reservation was for the wrong time. The complimentary bread had a wonderfully crunchy crust. The eggplant and portabello mushroom spaghetti with capers and green and black olives was unlike anything I’ve had before—what fun to try something new! It was so flavorful! And the portion size lasted for two meals. Would get again.“

Controversial opinion; the fries are better now tbh.
Super appreciate the actual QUALITY gluten free bun sub. The owners care about making their food accessible to many people, not just carnivores with an iron stomach. Fyre is open late, which gives us second and third shifters a beautiful and delicious option for food during /after our shifts. It’s also just great to be able to get a dab down the street and walk down here and be able to smash food without any sense of shame around the fact that I’m stoned af and about to literally inhale these fries.
The space is much bigger now, as the new owners have remodeled/removed several walls in the front of the shop to create additional seating. A nice high bar in front of a sunny window sounds like workspace heaven at 11am.
They plan to do tons of events, as the space is fricken huge. All around very excited for the future of this space and ftsq!

“The dish I had was excellent really don't have anything bad to say I would have personally preferred more cheese but that's just me the meat was flavorful and I especially like the corn and rice blend overall loved it and will definitely be back for another helping lol“

“I absolutely love their chicken salad croissant. It’s a bit pricier than I’d like for a lunch place but the food is very flavorful. Their rice krispies are phenomenal as well. Kinda wish they made their own chips instead of using Ruffles personally. The shop is nice with lots of seating and an outdoor space as well. Street parking is a bit hard to find. Overall though this might be my favorite spot to meet with clients over lunch!“

“Prices have leveled off here for a while now. And while I'll continue to be a curmudgeon about the cost, the food is always top notch and the portions are sizable enough to serve as at least one, maybe two leftover meals for the week. Server Charlie was promptly on top of refills and aux items (soy, a little more white rice), and boxed up our take-home quickly.
We are rewards members and find the premiums successful to draw us back here regularly. Local road washout will make it a longer drive for a few months, but we'll never give up Chang's!“
