“Great cocktail bar on Mass Ave. I got three cocktails there. All bourbon cocktails. They had a good variety of bourbon, tequila, rum, and vodka cocktails--the menu has so many options. The cocktails i got were all delicious. They also had surprisingly good food. I got a potato chorizo empanada and it was delicious. This is a basement bar and I love that vibe. Lots of pipes, brick walls, and speakeasy vibes. The waiter was very friendly and the service was quick for how busy it was. Definitely get here early if you want to come with a group. We went on a Saturday and it filled up.“
“The food was great and comfortable environment. My biggest complaint was our server. She was barely around while we were there. We asked for refills on drinks, and she never brought them. When she did finally come back, she just handed us the bill and walked off. We asked for boxes, and after a while of waiting, we just left. So, minus the server, everything else was good.“

“8th Day Distillery is such a hidden gem, and now one of my favorite spots to meet up with friends. Parking is easy, as you can park along the street or in the parking lot. The interior has a cool, industrial vibe. I loved their cocktail menu, as it was creative and everything I tried was delicious. The service was quick and friendly. I can't wait to come back for the new menu!“

“Shortly after we arrived to The Oakmont my Blood Sugar dropped. We were sitting at the bar and the kind Bartender took good care of me. He got me orange juice and kept refilling my drink quickly. He got my food very promptly. I really appreciated his attention. My yogurt bowl with fruit and granola was delicious and my blood sugar came back up shortly thereafter. At that point I was able to enjoy spending time with my family (all over 21) and was able to take in the wonderful atmosphere. The rest of my family also enjoyed the great food. To the Bartender, Thank you so very much!Dietary restrictions: Being diabetic I found several items on the menu that I could eat. I chose the yogurt bowl with fruit and granola. It was delicious. “AJs is hands down my favorite place to eat. We go here as often as we can and we order food from them ALL the time. The food NEVER MISSES. Not one time has the food been sub par or anything less than perfect. And I am talking about dozens and dozens of time. Not just a handful. No where else has consistently cooked delicious food. It would even be okay if they had a miss once in a while, but they just don’t. Lol. When I ask my kids what they want to eat for dinner it is AJs 9/10 times. We mostly order out but when we dine in, the staff is amazing and the times are fast. When I just sit at the bar for a drink, the bartenders are friendly and attentive. “I was hungry last week on a Friday and I saw this restaurant near an acquaintance's home so I went in at sat at the bar to order some food. Even though I waited a little bit for service, one of the bartenders gave me a menu after asking for one. I ordered the fish and chips with coleslaw and the chicken fingers for my Daddy. After one bite of the fish, it was so hot and delicious and fried to perfection and fries and coleslaw was awesome too. And I'm sure the chicken fingers were good .“
“I found Wiseguy lounge in 2019 and have been coming here non stop since then. This speakeasy tucked in the back of Goodfellas pizzeria is a great place to just hang back and enjoy a drink. The bartenders dress nicely and whole place is set to look like prohibition era. I can recommend so many drinks from there but my favorites are dirty smash, Marilyn Monroe and the espresso martini“

So glad we did, we had a blast and loved the trivia vibe there. “I took my wife to eat at a nearby restaurant for her birthday, then happened upon this place as we were walking around and just exploring the area afterwards. Decided to go in and see what it was about, and so glad we did! It turned out to be a great time, and made for a much more exciting birthday than just a fancy dinner and drinks. We were there on a Monday evening, so for the purchase of a couple drinks we were able to play the games for free. I have never been much of a bowler, but the miniature bowling proved to be a lot of fun with many laughs. Before we left, we went up to the rooftop bar/lounge and sat outside around the rooftop firepit. Really cool place with some fantastic staff! Would definitely come again.“

“Have been wanting to try this place for a long time and finally made it with 5 of my closest friends! Came on a Thursday night around 7pm. They post a code on their IG page so you can enter. It was fun within my group gathering everyones guesses before we arrived. Sadly someone let us in so we didn't get to enter the code in but there is a big vault where you can put it in should that not happen for you. Upon entry, it was super chill. They were setting up for a Sofar event (if you don't know what that is, do some homework on that), so they had a section of the place closed off for the set-up. The bartenders were very nice and engaging and offering drink options which was helpful because I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted. They actually created something for me based on what I like. There was plenty of seating, so no worries there on this particular day but I can imagine it could get crowded on the weekend. I'm a fan.“

I went with a vegetarian friend who loved their vegetarian burrito. Another had the tequila shrimp and there were lots of shrimp and peppers and she stated that it was excellent. Our group rounded out with the Carne Asada tacos and it too was flavorful and delicious. Each dish had a little kick but not overwhelming. We all left very full and happy! For 3 adults and a teenager the bill was $115 prior to tip. The 3 adults all had one alcoholic drink. Side note.
