“My husband and I stopped by last weekend on our kid-free day to check out the cigar lounge. We were immediately greeted by staff (cannot remember the gentleman’s name) and I told them this was our first time. He walked us through the whole process, made us feel comfortable and like we were friend’s we haven’t seen in years! The gentleman recommended the best cigars, told us to go sit down and they would handle the rest… super friendly staff, clean establishment. My husband and I will most definitely be back!“

“The best bar in town, normally hit here and joes, but that won’t be happening any more. The Mill has the best environment, patrons and staff. I’ve had multiple waitresses and they’ve all been perfect, always attentive and thoughtful. The food is great and they have gluten free options as well. Everything about it is perfect, and if you’re near spring mill road, the mill is the only option!“

“3/4 of the staff are competent, timely, personable, and courteous. Food's more than adequate for a neighborhood watering hole. It *is* pretty bright in there all the time but I imagine that's due to the issues inherited from before (🤷).“

“Great place to visit any time of day. Every time I come home to Carmel from Colorado I make an effort to stop in. Great place to stop by for remote work during the day during summer months. Great selection of beers and the service is always on point. My most recent visit, Ian went above and beyond to get water for my dog and had great recommendations on top of being attentive.“

“Our first time here, short wait time, our waitress was great but the food! It was delish plus and so fresh tasting… I recommend the sweet potato chips and made fresh to order guacomole… we had the street tacos, chicken with mango salsa and spiced street corn ! It’s an hour and a half drive but one we will make again!“

“It’s exactly the way I’ve always dreamed of a local place. Traci, the owner, comes by and recommends a drink. She tells you the story of the musician that is playing tonight. Her husband, Brian, is behind the bar and pouring himself another wine. He doesn’t want to chat like Traci does, but he is fussing over the food menu. Making sure it is perfect. Helping the musician make sure the sound is right. People keep bustling in and out from the neighborhood. You recognize them, clasp their hand and act like you remember their name. You will get it next time. The musician is amazing. This time it’s a guy with an epic mustache, a keyboard and he has 1032 songs that he can sing. Last time you came it was a woman with a guitar with an amazing voice. Before that it was a jazz duo with a saxophone. They are playing your requests between original songs. You can’t believe this place is real. It’s like you’ve always imagined. Like you always wanted. The food is good. The bartenders are friendly and know their craft. Your friends show up and Traci asks the people next to you at the bar if they can move over one seat to let them sit next to you. They join in the conversation and you recognize them the next time you come in. It’s simply amazing. Live music every Friday and Saturday and other days for events. Love this place. Can’t recommend it enough.“

“There's a certain magic that happens in bars that stopped worrying about impressing anyone a long time ago. Silver Dollar has it. The lighting is dim in that way that feels accidental rather than designed. The stools have some wobble to them. Nobody's mistaking this for a cocktail lounge, and honestly, that's the whole point.
What Silver Dollar sells isn't polish, it's proximity. Sit at the bar long enough and the line between stranger and regular starts to disappear. Someone will ask what you're drinking. Someone else will tell you a story you didn't ask for but end up glad you heard anyway. The bartenders have this easy confidence, like they've heard every version of every bar story there is and still make you feel like yours is the good one. A lot of that comes down to the owner, honestly. That kind of hospitality doesn't get built by accident.
The events here don't feel like calendar filler either. They feel like the neighborhood actually showing up for itself, which is rarer than it should be these days.
Is it rough around the edges? Sure. But that roughness is part of the charm, not something working against it. Silver Dollar isn't chasing a trend. It's just doing the one thing a good dive bar is supposed to do, which is make you feel like you belong there whether it's your first time in or your fiftieth.

“Portions are huge. Had the sloppy joe and it was the best sloppy joe I've ever had. My son in law had the ribeye sandwich and it was a huge ribeye. He said it was excellent. Prices very good. Nice selection of craft beer. Erin the bartender was outstanding! Great service! Only downside is the smoking for me. Come from a state where smoking isn't allowed indoors at restaurants, pubs, bars so an adjustment for me. Overall was a great experience.“

“We love to try new places & tonight was a FANTASTIC MEAL! We were celebrating a birthday. Wonderful parking in crazy tight Carmel, IN. The atmosphere rich, but not intimidating. The seating tables are nicely spaced out. Not over crowded. Our server Oloft ( forgot how to spell his name ) was SPECTACULAR! The menu is very well laid out and the portions are not disappointing! The staff is very friendly and quick to serve & pre bus the table. Our drinks were delicious AND the dessert drinks you have to try! ALL, the food was fresh and just simply delicious. We will visit here again and not just for special occasions! Thank you for a memorable dining experience! Definitely better than Prime 47, better than H! We still love Nylas in Westfield and the Salt in Carmel. Parking was definitely better at Anthony's! See you again soon!“

“Cool laid back vibe! The wings were phenomenal! They fall off the bone and not a bit of meat is wasted! They have a decent sauce selection with some different choices than the run of the mill wing place. It was very cool that the owner was out helping the service team and stopped at our table to check on how we liked things. 10/10 recommend. I’m sure if we lived closer, we would become regulars. It will definitely be a stop whenever we are in the area.“

“I go here multiple times a month, and trust me when I say it’s not the closest to my house. It’s a tiny hole in the wall, but it reminds me of bars back home on the gulf coast. “Had a great experience at Chili's tonight! The food was excellent, came out hot, and everything was exactly as ordered. What really made the visit stand out, though, was our server, Jay.
Jay was friendly, attentive, and had a great attitude from start to finish. He checked on us at just the right times, kept drinks filled, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling intrusive. Service like that can turn a good meal into a great experience.

“My son’s birthday was last night. He has had a dave and busters card for over 5 years that he has steadily built to over 50,000 points. Last night he lost it within 10m Of us being there. I had just loaded it with money. He was looking all over and so distraught. Our waitress- Angela noticed this and tried to help. As we all combed the place - she went to her manager (andre) and told him about the situation while we were looking. Within 30 minutes he had a new card (they used my credit card to track the point card number down) and all of it was moved to a new card. I just want to say thanks to our waitress who is such a caring person. We appreciated you took the time to help us and treated us like it mattered to you. And also to the manager.
