“My husband and I stopped by last weekend on our kid-free day to check out the cigar lounge. We were immediately greeted by staff (cannot remember the gentleman’s name) and I told them this was our first time. He walked us through the whole process, made us feel comfortable and like we were friend’s we haven’t seen in years! The gentleman recommended the best cigars, told us to go sit down and they would handle the rest… super friendly staff, clean establishment. My husband and I will most definitely be back!“

“Always a good time. Free comedy shows every Sunday (unless otherwise stated) great seating. Good food as well, although I believe the food comes from a separate business altogether.

Love the stellar 90s feels as you listen to vinyls and watch VHS tapes of everything you knew about growing up. No sound for those movies, but they are in yhe background playing every show!

Great selection of beers and the service is always on point. My most recent visit, Ian went above and beyond to get water for my dog and had great recommendations on top of being attentive.“

“It’s exactly the way I’ve always dreamed of a local place. Traci, the owner, comes by and recommends a drink. She tells you the story of the musician that is playing tonight. Her husband, Brian, is behind the bar and pouring himself another wine. He doesn’t want to chat like Traci does, but he is fussing over the food menu. Making sure it is perfect. Helping the musician make sure the sound is right. People keep bustling in and out from the neighborhood. You recognize them, clasp their hand and act like you remember their name. You will get it next time. The musician is amazing. This time it’s a guy with an epic mustache, a keyboard and he has 1032 songs that he can sing. Last time you came it was a woman with a guitar with an amazing voice. Before that it was a jazz duo with a saxophone. They are playing your requests between original songs. You can’t believe this place is real. It’s like you’ve always imagined. Like you always wanted. The food is good. The bartenders are friendly and know their craft. Your friends show up and Traci asks the people next to you at the bar if they can move over one seat to let them sit next to you. They join in the conversation and you recognize them the next time you come in. It’s simply amazing. Live music every Friday and Saturday and other days for events. Love this place. Can’t recommend it enough.“

It was delish plus and so fresh tasting… I recommend the sweet potato chips and made fresh to order guacomole… we had the street tacos, chicken with mango salsa and spiced street corn ! “We had an amazing evening at Loom on Sunday. Harry was the bartender and the hospitality he showed us was lovely— so warm and friendly and great at his job. The Negroni and Cilantro Gimlet with pickled ginger that he made were excellent, and we also got to do a tasting of the house amaro, which I highly recommend trying. You’ll never want an underberg again. I really liked the vibe at Loom. Divey, dark, quirky, cozy. We will for sure be back.“

“Great relaxed vibe for people who want an alcoholic drink or an espresso. Fantastic concept that Broad Ripple has needed for a long time. Typically, coffee cafes close at 3:00 p.m. making it impossible to get an after dinner coffee but thanks to Thieves there is now a place to go. Friendly service and well made espresso.“

“Was looking forward to eating here. The atmosphere was great, but the food was ok. For the price, I expected the food to be amazing. I got the pulled pork Mac and cheese. There was hardly any meat in it and the Mac and cheese was meh. I feel it is very over priced for the quantity. Probably won't return.“

“There's a certain magic that happens in bars that stopped worrying about impressing anyone a long time ago. Silver Dollar has it. The lighting is dim in that way that feels accidental rather than designed. The stools have some wobble to them. Nobody's mistaking this for a cocktail lounge, and honestly, that's the whole point.
What Silver Dollar sells isn't polish, it's proximity. Sit at the bar long enough and the line between stranger and regular starts to disappear. Someone will ask what you're drinking. Someone else will tell you a story you didn't ask for but end up glad you heard anyway. The bartenders have this easy confidence, like they've heard every version of every bar story there is and still make you feel like yours is the good one. A lot of that comes down to the owner, honestly. That kind of hospitality doesn't get built by accident.
The events here don't feel like calendar filler either. They feel like the neighborhood actually showing up for itself, which is rarer than it should be these days.
Is it rough around the edges? Sure. But that roughness is part of the charm, not something working against it. Silver Dollar isn't chasing a trend. It's just doing the one thing a good dive bar is supposed to do, which is make you feel like you belong there whether it's your first time in or your fiftieth.
If you want craft cocktails and a curated playlist, look elsewhere. If you want the real thing, cold beer, good people, and a bar that actually means something to the block it sits on, Silver Dollar's got you covered.“

“Portions are huge. Had the sloppy joe and it was the best sloppy joe I've ever had. My son in law had the ribeye sandwich and it was a huge ribeye. He said it was excellent. Prices very good. Nice selection of craft beer. Erin the bartender was outstanding! Great service! Only downside is the smoking for me. Come from a state where smoking isn't allowed indoors at restaurants, pubs, bars so an adjustment for me. Overall was a great experience.“

“Cool laid back vibe! The wings were phenomenal! They fall off the bone and not a bit of meat is wasted! They have a decent sauce selection with some different choices than the run of the mill wing place. It was very cool that the owner was out helping the service team and stopped at our table to check on how we liked things. 10/10 recommend. I’m sure if we lived closer, we would become regulars. “I travel to Indy once or twice a year, and I make sure I stop at KSR for food and drinks. By far the best family-owned bar and restaurant I have visited in Indy. I highly recommend this place. Do not judge by appearance (which I believe makes it a better experience). The pizza, wings, and sandwiches are off the charts. Hell, the salads look amazing, and I am not a big salad fan. “We love to try new places & tonight was a FANTASTIC MEAL! We were celebrating a birthday. Wonderful parking in crazy tight Carmel, IN. The atmosphere rich, but not intimidating. The seating tables are nicely spaced out. Not over crowded. Our server Oloft ( forgot how to spell his name ) was SPECTACULAR! The menu is very well laid out and the portions are not disappointing! The staff is very friendly and quick to serve & pre bus the table. Our drinks were delicious AND the dessert drinks you have to try! ALL, the food was fresh and just simply delicious. We will visit here again and not just for special occasions! Thank you for a memorable dining experience! Definitely better than Prime 47, better than H! We still love Nylas in Westfield and the Salt in Carmel. Parking was definitely better at Anthony's! See you again soon!“

“We go here often to enjoy music and some appetizers. We took a seat at the sofa like we have many times. 15 minutes in, we noticed only the bartender and no other staff. Another 15 minutes and no service. Off we go. We have had many wonderful evenings at Adagio, not tonight.“

“We held our October 2022 wedding ceremony and reception at Liter House and loved the experience! Drew and the whole event staff were helpful, kind, and easy to work with. We loved our brunch reception with delicious breakfast food and classic Sahm’s coffee cake. The event space is warm, inviting, and the right size to host lots of different types of weddings or gatherings. Also, the location is perfect - the Monon trail is a gorgeous place for pictures and features a lot of cool artwork/murals. I definitely recommend checking out Liter House for your event!“

Brisket 8.5. Bark was very good, and the meat fell apart. Pork 7.8. Smoked well, was just dry Chicken Breast 8.8 Best thing we tried here for sure. Smoked wings 6.5. Very good flavor, but it was super dry Turkey. 7.9. Thick and smoked well, just a little to dry for us Sausage 8.0. Good flavor with a little heat Also, the pickled onions were outstanding. “I go here multiple times a month, and trust me when I say it’s not the closest to my house. It’s a tiny hole in the wall, but it reminds me of bars back home on the gulf coast. It’s tiny and comfortable, and other than the regular crowd who sit at the bar all of the time everyone else is always different every night.“
