“I decided to treat me wife and I to a nice treat today. I picked the perfect place to order food to go. The staff and manager were extremely nice and everyone seemed to love working there. The food was tremendous! The Chipotle Crispers are gold, the fries are delicious and well seasoned. My wife loved her black bean burger. Keep up the great service with wonderful food! We will be back for sure“

“This spot is top-notch! Reliable, classic, Mexican fare. Solid grilled steak tacos and arroz con pollo. The salsa is obviously homemade and delicious, it tastes different just a little bit every time- yesterday the cilantro was extra potent! The prices are just amazing for what you get, and the people are super nice.“

“Holey shit, this place feels like Indy’s hidden gem for bourbon lovers and cocktail nerds alike. From the moment you walk into Hotel Tango Distillery, you know you’re somewhere with soul. It’s not just another bar. It’s a working distillery with history, personality, and a vibe that is equal parts cozy cabin and urban bourbon lab.
The atmosphere here is rustic and welcoming: high ceilings, brick and stone walls, comfy seating, and even a giant fireplace for colder days. It is the kind of place where you want to sink into a couch with a drink and just relax. Plenty of locals and visitors rave about how inviting it feels, almost like sipping whiskey in a friend’s cool loft.
The staff we encountered were super friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. Even if it was a slow night, you could tell they genuinely love this place and want you to have a great time. That energy comes through in the cocktails.
Speaking of drinks, they are creative as hell. Sure, they make classic bourbons and spirits, but the standout is the flavored stuff like their Shmallow (toasted marshmallow) bourbon. Many bourbon snobs dismiss flavored bourbon before trying it, but it delivers more nostalgia and smooth sweetness than you would expect. I usually avoid flavored bourbons, but this one hit the spot.
And I can’t forget Freddie the cat. He graced me with his presence, a true honor for anyone lucky enough to encounter him. This adds an extra quirky, personal touch that makes the distillery feel alive.
Beyond Shmallow, Hotel Tango mixes up seasonal and inventive cocktails that make the most of their spirits. Whether you are into smoky sweet drinks or something more balanced, their menu shows real craft and imagination.
The vibe is casual but not sloppy. It is cool in that unpretentious hipster distillery way. Great for a date, a night out with friends, or just chilling solo with a drink. Plus, it has that backstory, the first combat disabled, veteran owned distillery in the U.S., which gives it character you do not find everywhere.“

“Tall brunette bartender, is the best 🥰“
“Decent prices for the location - within walking distance of Lucas Oil Stadium. It’s great for pre-game drinks! Not usually very crowded, so you can get quick drink service.Don’t order the bruschetta... It was a soup of balsamic with a handful of tomato chunks thrown in. The non-vegetarian options looked decent, though. I definitely view this place as more of a drinking bar to chill at than a restaurant, but my menu options were pretty limited (so it might be better for meat eaters).Staff is nice and remembers the regulars. They also have karaoke some nights!“
“i so much enjoyed being there for post festival this year
extremely comfortable venue with two scenes and buffer zone in between
once scene is located inside, another is open air
you can hang in buffer zone if you need a break
versatile choice of alcoholic drinks, but also there was some thc and water stuff. no hot beverages or just sparkling water, but they let us come in with our coffee
atmosphere was amazing and people were kind and easy to talk to
it was a great experience“

“I've been wanting to try this place for awhile since it became Freddie's, so I ordered takeout. A burger and cheese curds came out to just under $30, which I don't feel like I just ate $30 worth of food, but that's mostly due to the cheese curds, which are like $12 by themselves on the appetizer side.
First of all, I want to say the menu states the ghost pepper curds are extremely hot and I'm here to dispel that. It's similar in heat to biting into a jalapeno. I have a pretty high heat tolerance and was expecting them to be diabolically hot, but I popped one in without the sauce to cool it down and it's very manageable for the average person. For me, I barely got the heat. I will say eating them is kind of like eating a cube of chewy, flavorless cheese; however, the taste they leave in your mouth afterward is really enjoyable.
On the hot pepper bacon jam burger, I think I may have just mis-ordered because I've never had jalapeno jam before. It wasn't hot at all, but it did add a sugary flavor the burger that I didn't care for. I think if I got the cajun burger instead, I would have been more than satisfied, so I'm not dropping the rating because of that. It was well dressed and juicy, though the lettuce was wilted.“

“First things first- I’ve been to Italy and had “real” pasta AND pasta is not usually my first choice. In fact I probably have it twice a year. BUT THIS… Was. So. Good. Highly recommend the pesto ravioli, sausage pasta, Parmesan garlic toast, and shrimp fondue. Service was great and restaurant was a cute vibe, which feels as important as the food itself.“
“Yo, this was a super dope place. I was visiting Indianapolis from out of town and stopping by different comedy open mics throughout the city. Since I had already been drinking almost every night of the trip, I really appreciated that Fountain Square Brewing had several nonalcoholic beer options. I still like to order something and support the bar when I’m performing, so being able to grab a couple of good NA beers was perfect.
They don’t serve food directly, but there was a food truck outside with someone inside taking orders. At first, the bartender pointed me toward the ordering area, but the food truck representative wasn’t there at that exact moment. A few minutes later, the bartender actually remembered that I was trying to order and called him over, saying that I wanted to place a food order. That might seem like a small thing, but I really appreciated the attention to detail. The food ended up being pretty dope too.
I was there for the Wednesday comedy open mic, and the host was great. He noticed me walking in and made sure to point out the sign-up sheet because I had walked right past it. Everyone was welcoming, the comedy was fun, and the overall vibe was relaxed and friendly.
I actually heard about this place from some locals while I was at Planetary Brewing the night before, and I’m glad they recommended it. Great NA options, good food available outside, attentive staff, and a fun comedy scene. I would definitely come back the next time I’m in Indianapolis.“

“Listen. It's a Southside corner bar and it's perfect. The food is mneh. Get the mozzarella sticks and shut up. Cocktails? Hell no, draft beer or shots. Is the game on? Probably. Is there some drunk divorced dad hitting on a bartender? You betcha. Schneiders is everything it is supposed to be and nothing else.“

“This place was OK. The waitress was grabby within our cups to fill them and we had to complain to the owner that she grabbed are glasses out of our hands. And he defended her saying it was her 2nd day on the job working. But didn't say a word to her for her to come and apologize to us. Won't go back there.“

“Favorite bar in Indy - which says a lot. INCREDIBLE FOOD - I CANNOT EMPHASIZE THIS ENOUGH - THIS IS WHERE YOU WANNA GO TO EAT. First Friday is always a blast - many pool tables, darts, pinball machines, ect. So many bathrooms in so many random places. I mostly came here to say that the food is so good, I’m always so pleasantly surprised how absolutely divine it is.“

“SUCH A FUN PLACE
I loved it here. The trivia was awesome. We won and got a $25 gift card! The food was delicious. Our waitress was friendly. The location and parking is great. If you go, go on wednesday night for trivia and get the pork tenderloin and sweet potato fries. Trust me you won’t be disappointed. The layout of the bar is also super fun. Lots of room to hangout with friends and play games like darts or shuffleboard.
Only critiques would be there were no menus or napkins at the table. That would just be a nice addition. Prices are a bit high for food. The drink prices were great though. And the pint glasses have a magnetic disc that helps fill from the bottom but i messed with it and accidentally spilled my beer all over the table“

“Food was fine. View is nice. It's a fun vibe. Only negative was that we had the rudest bartender I've ever encountered. Didn't have a name tag but Ste was a shirt brunette. It wasn't busy so I'm not really sure why she was so rude.“
