“We have been here twice. First time the food was great- chori pollo, birra tacos and spicy shrimp. Service was prompt, though the server didn't know answers to several of our questions. Chalking this up to being a new establishment. Chef and owner came back to check on us as well. Drinks specials were good and overall price was in line for a Mexican restaurant in this area. Second time- we ordered different dishes- fajitas, sopas and burrito. This time it was just ok. Fajitas barely had any meat, so I told the server this. She did bring a side of meat after that, which I appreciated. Second time we went for my kids birthday and they had a complimentary dessert with candles and a sombrero hat, the made it festive which I greatly appreciated. May come back another time and do the same dishes as the first time.“

“Wife and I went out for her birthday dinner. We chose the blue cactus and the artcraft theater for the festivities. Place has great decor, comfortable settings and nice bathrooms. We both chose street tacos, I with the Carne azada and she with the fish. We traded out tacos so we could both try them. The fish sauce is wonderful and the fish itself was cooked perfectly. The Carne azada was spiced well and tasty but pretty dry. The verde sauce was very good. We had the guacamole, and it was the creamy style that had the perfect amount of heat! Over all it was a good meal for a good price.“

Pizza was definitely the favorite item ordered as I looked around at what others ordered.Service was spotty. There were long periods of time our server was missing. Actually, I couldn't locate her and had to go into the bar to get our check. Never did find her.Great old restaurant/bar, and it's definitely significant history. “Have been wanting to try this place for a long time and finally made it with 5 of my closest friends! Came on a Thursday night around 7pm. They post a code on their IG page so you can enter. It was fun within my group gathering everyones guesses before we arrived. Sadly someone let us in so we didn't get to enter the code in but there is a big vault where you can put it in should that not happen for you. Upon entry, it was super chill. They were setting up for a Sofar event (if you don't know what that is, do some homework on that), so they had a section of the place closed off for the set-up. The bartenders were very nice and engaging and offering drink options which was helpful because I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted. They actually created something for me based on what I like. There was plenty of seating, so no worries there on this particular day but I can imagine it could get crowded on the weekend. I'm a fan.“

“The food is amazing! The nachos are huge! Definitely get them to share. They are served on a half sheet pan. The bowls are fantastic. I went with a vegetarian friend who loved their vegetarian burrito. Another had the tequila shrimp and there were lots of shrimp and peppers and she stated that it was excellent. Our group rounded out with the Carne Asada tacos and it too was flavorful and delicious. Each dish had a little kick but not overwhelming. We all left very full and happy! For 3 adults and a teenager the bill was $115 prior to tip. The 3 adults all had one alcoholic drink. Side note. “To celebrate my son’s 21st birthday, we took him to Indiana on vacation to the Annual Fall Festival-Makers Market hosted by INDY HAMMERED KNIVES on September 30th. We found the best bar called KITLEY INN on 825 S. Kitley Ave., across from the Indianapolis Speedrome. The bartender, Lori, was so nice and attentive. She was always there right as we finished our beer/drink. We even went back the next evening and Lori remembered us and our beverage order. The food was also fantastic. The place wasn’t super busy, but we went early around 5:00 or 6:00pm and everyone was nice. The other customers even took pictures for us. They played good country music while we were there, and the music wasn’t overly loud. I definitely recommend Kitley Inn for good cold beer/drinks, good music, good food, and a great atmosphere.“

They have such a friendly staff, street parking is free and plentiful, and a good, affordable drink selection.They are the place to be after the neighborhood street fest and they host the neighborhood holiday party with karaoke in December. “A local friend of my wife's took me to the One More Lounge. I had a real good time meeting a number of the regulars. They were all very nice to me. “The Grove just recently reopened under new ownership and we stopped in to play pool and have a couple beers. We ended up having a few buckets and shots. Then the band Rocking Horse began. They sounded very good. I seen them back in the mid nineties. We danced and had a great time. We didn't eat...this time but we will go back and eat then. In the past the food was really good. It is located near Main Street in Beech Grove and has cheap wings Monday, affordable beer, and a decent set up. Don't care for the day time bar tender but the owner is a sweetheart.“
“Incredible food! We got the 5th Ave wings which are tossed in whatever flavor you want and then passed through a flame leaving the wings super juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The pork tenderloin sandwich was absolutely delicious, and the fries are the perfect blend of crispy and fluffy. The atmosphere was the only mediocre part for us - just not our scene. But, the tenderloin was cooked all the way, no soggy breading - very crispy yet the meat was still very juicy. The coleslaw is made in-house and was very very good - a creamy based coleslaw.“

Let me tell y'all..... that burger was one of the best burgers I've had in some time. I ordered the "build your own burger" added pepper Jack cheese and bacon and of course all of the fixings. It comes with a side of seasoned steak fries which are delicious. I wish there were more for the $17 price tag of the combo. I also ordered the pickle fries and a side of the jalapeño ranch for dipping. They were a little floppy by the time the got to me but that was just from the condensation in the packaging. A quick pop in the air fryer and they crisped back up. My son is a BIG fan of fried pickles so I'm looking forward to ordering these again. Will absolutely be trying more on their menu!“
“Second stop here. I had the Spicy Bacon Ranch Burger with fries. It was one of the best smoked burgers I have had in a while and it was cooked to perfection for medium rare. Fries were excellent. Only thing that could have been better was the temperature of the barely wine…it was luke warm at best and needed to be served in chilled glass or the temperature adjusted on the taps as the other sample I tried was also almost room temperature.“
