A lot of that comes down to the owner, honestly. That kind of hospitality doesn't get built by accident.
The events here don't feel like calendar filler either. They feel like the neighborhood actually showing up for itself, which is rarer than it should be these days.
Is it rough around the edges? Sure. But that roughness is part of the charm, not something working against it. Silver Dollar isn't chasing a trend. It's just doing the one thing a good dive bar is supposed to do, which is make you feel like you belong there whether it's your first time in or your fiftieth.

“Portions are huge. Had the sloppy joe and it was the best sloppy joe I've ever had. My son in law had the ribeye sandwich and it was a huge ribeye. He said it was excellent. Prices very good. Nice selection of craft beer. Erin the bartender was outstanding! Great service! Only downside is the smoking for me. Come from a state where smoking isn't allowed indoors at restaurants, pubs, bars so an adjustment for me. Overall was a great experience.“

“Was looking forward to eating here. The atmosphere was great, but the food was ok. For the price, I expected the food to be amazing. I got the pulled pork Mac and cheese. There was hardly any meat in it and the Mac and cheese was meh. I feel it is very over priced for the quantity. Probably won't return.“

“I'll start by saying I was pleasantly surprised by this place and would definitely recommend it. First of all, the outside had me a little worried, but the inside was clean (so were the bathrooms!) and the staff was very friendly. They had a large selection bar and we had a drink while we ordered food to go (drinks and food were both reasonably priced).

We got the pulled pork quesadilla (10/10 the best thing we had), pork tenderloin sandwich (potential for greatness, but was overcooked), and the ribs (the Shanghai BBQ sauce wasn't for me, but I'm very picky about my ribs and these could be my new favorite anyway as they were so fall apart tender and delicious; just get the regular BBQ sauce instead IMO). We also got a side of very good battered fries, battered onion rings, and coleslaw that had a touch of some seasonings I couldn't place, but they were good.

All in all, would very highly recommend and my family can't wait to come back to try the rest of the menu! I couldn't find a menu on their website, but the picture I'm posting is current as of Aug/9/2026.

Edit: We spent $65 pre-tip (but that also included drinks) and we still had leftovers. No complaints about the portions for the price 👍🏽“

“When I searched for food near me, this Chili's came up. Reviews weren't very good but we know to take negative reviews with a huge grain of salt. Check mine, I only post if it's really good or really bad and not based on 1 bad experience as everyone has a bad day.

“My husband and I stopped by last weekend on our kid-free day to check out the cigar lounge. We were immediately greeted by staff (cannot remember the gentleman’s name) and I told them this was our first time. He walked us through the whole process, made us feel comfortable and like we were friend’s we haven’t seen in years! The gentleman recommended the best cigars, told us to go sit down and they would handle the rest… super friendly staff, clean establishment. My husband and I will most definitely be back!“

“This brewery has such a great food! You can grab a beer inside and take it outside with your food from any of the vendors, which makes for a nice, relaxed setup.

One tip: check the menus posted on the door, then follow the signs to find the food vendors. It can be a little confusing to navigate at first, so just give yourself a minute to figure out the flow.

It was delish plus and so fresh tasting… I recommend the sweet potato chips and made fresh to order guacomole… we had the street tacos, chicken with mango salsa and spiced street corn ! It’s an hour and a half drive but one we will make again!“

“It’s exactly the way I’ve always dreamed of a local place. Traci, the owner, comes by and recommends a drink. She tells you the story of the musician that is playing tonight. Her husband, Brian, is behind the bar and pouring himself another wine. He doesn’t want to chat like Traci does, but he is fussing over the food menu. Making sure it is perfect. Helping the musician make sure the sound is right. People keep bustling in and out from the neighborhood. You recognize them, clasp their hand and act like you remember their name. You will get it next time. The musician is amazing. This time it’s a guy with an epic mustache, a keyboard and he has 1032 songs that he can sing. Last time you came it was a woman with a guitar with an amazing voice. Before that it was a jazz duo with a saxophone. They are playing your requests between original songs. You can’t believe this place is real. It’s like you’ve always imagined. Like you always wanted. The food is good. The bartenders are friendly and know their craft. Your friends show up and Traci asks the people next to you at the bar if they can move over one seat to let them sit next to you. They join in the conversation and you recognize them the next time you come in. It’s simply amazing. Live music every Friday and Saturday and other days for events. Love this place. Can’t recommend it enough.“

“We love to try new places & tonight was a FANTASTIC MEAL! We were celebrating a birthday. Wonderful parking in crazy tight Carmel, IN. The atmosphere rich, but not intimidating. The seating tables are nicely spaced out. Not over crowded. Our server Oloft ( forgot how to spell his name ) was SPECTACULAR! The menu is very well laid out and the portions are not disappointing! The staff is very friendly and quick to serve & pre bus the table. Our drinks were delicious AND the dessert drinks you have to try! ALL, the food was fresh and just simply delicious. We will visit here again and not just for special occasions! Thank you for a memorable dining experience! Definitely better than Prime 47, better than H! “My son’s birthday was last night. He has had a dave and busters card for over 5 years that he has steadily built to over 50,000 points. Last night he lost it within 10m Of us being there. I had just loaded it with money. He was looking all over and so distraught. Our waitress- Angela noticed this and tried to help. As we all combed the place - she went to her manager (andre) and told him about the situation while we were looking. Within 30 minutes he had a new card (they used my credit card to track the point card number down) and all of it was moved to a new card. I just want to say thanks to our waitress who is such a caring person. We appreciated you took the time to help us and treated us like it mattered to you. And also to the manager.
