“Flew up to Indy to experience March Madness at the Ale. It has exceeded expectations on all levels. Words cannot describe the exceptional service from top to bottom and they clearly have a great culture. Service, food, and atmosphere make this one of the best sports bars. Try the Hermanaki wings and don't miss out on the pizza which is phenomenal. You won't find this cocktail on the menu but you have to try Eddie's Big Foxy, it will not disappoint!“
“I attended a conference at the Indy Convention Center the last 4 days. Stayed at the JW Marriott. High Velocity is located in that hotel. It became my main eating place during my stay. The food is very good and moderately priced. I especially enjoyed the sweet potato fries and the short rib tacos. The service was excellent. I highly recommend High Velocity for those staying at the JW Mariott in Indianapolis.“
“We hosted a group event at the Fowling Warehouse and everyone had an amazing time! The drinks were affordable and delicious, especially the mystery beer and the slashes. We really enjoyed the BYO food, which made this an even more cost effective for a group event. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Everyone at our party has already asked when we can go again. Definitely a fun activity!!Parking: Large parking lot across the street“
“Food was delicious and our server was great. Didn't rush us and gave us great service. Salmon BLT was tasty with the garlic aioli. We tried the whipped feta and chicharrons and both were very tasty. My husband loves their beer as well. Definitely becoming a regular spot for us.“
“We were in town for a Pacers game and chose TDT for pre-gaming. It was perfect. Atmosphere was great - "upscale bar". It seemed like everyone there was going to the game, which is fun. Service was friendly. Burgers were delicious. Nice draft beer selection. We'll be in town for a concert in a few months, and may just eat here again!“
“My servers name was Michael I believe. I have never had faster service in my life he refilled my water the second it was gone my food came super quick and was great I’ve never had Nashville hot chicken before as I usually don’t like spicy food but it was awesome. I sat in the bar and ofc he checked my id as he should and was not only super friendly but very polite fantastic service even changed the channel for me to the basketball game I wanted to watch the appetizers are fantastic I had the half plate of pork nachos. Half plate is an understatement cause I didn’t even finish half of the half plate. I must just be a light weight or something because the Bloody Mary I had made me feel super silly. Whatever those bartenders are up to in the labs needs to continue. I absolutely love the view of the marina from this restaurant if you are in the Geist area this is a must try!!! My only complaint is that the food is a little pricey but hey it’s in a super high class area so what do you expect.Parking: I rode my bike here and nobody stole it :)“
“It's a total dive, but it literally has the miloyst diverse crowd I've ever seen. Hippies and socialites in fur coats .lol ..cheap basic drinks. Always seems to be something going on. I recently moved to neighborhood so it's 2 seconds away. Also as a single woman. The vibe was chill and the bartenders are mindful. Never felt uncomfortable stopping for a drink in the way on home, or getting a cocktail on a random Tuesday by myself. I never felt like prey, so ++ on that.“
“Second time being here. First time was fantastic, we just had starters and drinks. This time we ordered food. An Asian Sweet and Spicy chicken over rice and broccoli, as well as the Bourbon burger. The chicken was amazing, which was nice, because my burger was under seasoned and under cooked. I didn't scoff at that much, because it happens. Overall, I would still return to try out other options that sounded good but didn't choose. They have steel tip darts, shuffle board, plenty of tvs, and great music. Not to mention a great assortment of drinks. They do welcome kids, and they have a kids menu if you're needing that.“
“We had an incredible lunch experience at Mike's Speedway Lounge, conveniently located across from the IMS track. The wings and tenderloin we ordered were simply fantastic, and we were blown away by the generous size of the tenderloin. Kelly, our bartender, was phenomenal, providing attentive and friendly service that made us feel right at home. What made our visit even more memorable was the welcoming environment, with locals engaging us in conversation and sharing captivating stories. It was a pleasure to connect with the community and feel the genuine racing camaraderie. Whether you're craving delicious food, exceptional service, or a chance to immerse yourself in the local racing culture, Mike's Speedway Lounge is the place to be.“
“I ordered jerk chicken(finger licken good, spicy as expected but sweet sauce that glazed the chx). some veggies along with hands down best plantains I’ve ever had!! To drink I had a custom run drink they make to top off and some H20 lol. Love this place.“
“The food was great. A bit loud and rowdy for my taste though. Only reason for 4 stars is that 2 of us ordered fries but got tots. Then, no one in our party of 9 was charged correctly, I was charged for my friends meal, he was charged for mine etc.“
“1st time and definitely will be back! Drinks and food are so good!! I ordered the Electric Lemonade and the famous stuffed breadsticks as well as chicken tenders. Great atmosphere, lots of TVs and great music playing. At the entrance someone asks to see your ID and if you go late it does get pretty busy. My husband and I went at 10 pm the 1st night on Thursday, then went for lunch on Saturday.“
“This place is great! We come here quite often and really never had anything on the menu that is not tasty. Love their wing flavors, pizza, and wraps. They also have some really great specials both lunch and each evening for dinner. We also come here regularly for trivia nights and live music. Just a great place!“
“To celebrate my son’s 21st birthday, we took him to Indiana on vacation to the Annual Fall Festival-Makers Market hosted by INDY HAMMERED KNIVES on September 30th. We found the best bar called KITLEY INN on 825 S. Kitley Ave., across from the Indianapolis Speedrome. The bartender, Lori, was so nice and attentive. She was always there right as we finished our beer/drink. We even went back the next evening and Lori remembered us and our beverage order. The food was also fantastic. The place wasn’t super busy, but we went early around 5:00 or 6:00pm and everyone was nice. The other customers even took pictures for us. They played good country music while we were there, and the music wasn’t overly loud. I definitely recommend Kitley Inn for good cold beer/drinks, good music, good food, and a great atmosphere.“
“Went to the family side for some pizza. Great service even though it was busy. Good gets a little better every time we go. The family area could use a little update on the decor, though!Dietary restrictions: Good gluten free crust option for the pizza!“
“Great BRV spot just North of the main drag & the Canal, across from the Monon. Great patio, good bar food and cold beer! Nice spot to people watch on a Summer afternoon or to watch some basketball. Originally owned by Bobby Plump of Hoosiers fame and the Milan Miracle. Also, a Butler Bulldog basketball legend.“
“This is our go to location for our friends. Awesome staff, really good food and cold drinks. Darts, pool and live bands are here as well. We love it in the summer, fall for the spacious patio. Highly highly recommend. Chicken quesadillas, free spirit fries and the chicken sandwich are always so delicious“
“Our server was MIA, she was friendly, attentive and very good!It was my first time. there , I came to see the band , Cody Ikerd and the Sidewinders, they were very good! The bingo game was easy and fun, something different to do!If this band plays there again I’ll be back and bring more people!“
“They have really good food! Like pizza, wings tacos, salads, and more..It is usually pretty busy, but croud on the patio in the summers and bands there every Saturday night.Sometimes it's so packed can't even get in a game of Pool ?“
“Always have a good time here. Food is fire, drinks are pretty good, especially the long Island picture. Waitresses are young with great customer service which is RARE today lol but they're always so sweet. Might need to knock down a few walls to add more space and more pool tables, but definitely a dope vibe and dope place to hang out“
“Went for a memorial/celebration of life. Whatever you are paying your kitchen crew, double it! The food was hot, fresh, stunningly tasty, and was great portions for the low price! The service was great, and the band was amazing as well, albeit a bit loud for my personal taste. We will absolutely be coming back any time we visit Indy.“
“Best Stuffed burger in Indianapolis by FAR!!! Char-grilled EVERY TIME! All food made to order; and the meat is not dry, and it's great quality. You owe it to yourself to try the food here. I order mine to go all the time. Id show you pictures but I eat it way too fast! lol“
“Great place but the wait staff needs to be more consistent on what/how much is charged for drinks. Bought buckets of beer 3Xs, and was charged 3 different prices. Maybe that’s why there isn’t much of a crowd or many people walked in, took one look and walked out!“
“I love the saint shack every time I go to it with my freind it’s amazing the foods great the waiting times not that long the service is great there nice people if you are seeing this I highly recommend going there for a late night party.Kid-friendliness: There times where kids can go in and not go in.“
“While they don't have a crazy selection of beer... They had some of the best ribs I've ever had at the crazy price of $9. You will get great customer service from their staff who are all friendly.Just a 2024 update.. Still a great place. They seem to have renovated some with new flooring and some new Tvs. Still a great value and good food.“
“Wednesday chicken dinner special is the best. great place to buy and smoke a cigar on the balcony or on the patio. amazing remodel upstairs must see. From shots and beer to specialty drinks made by Ryan it covers what ever craving you have.“
“I stopped here for dinner after work. The bartender was on point. I had a drink and menue in my hand in less than two minutes. This is a bar and grill with an open concept and plenty of TVs. Seems like it would be fun to party here on the weekend, but the food is good, and it came out quick.“
“Was told by the door guy it was almost last call went inside and was immediately approached by bartender who come up to me and said last call has already happened and I said ok and started walking towards the bathroom were then he told me to leave right what a arrogant minimum wage Moron“
“From Pittsburgh, PA, where the kind of betting that happens here isn't legal. I walked in not knowing what to expect, and was met with enthusiasm and kindness by the staff. Wasn't busy, and the kitchen had just closed, but I was only here while I waited 45 minutes for a deep dish pizza. Bar is nice, casino-y (yes, I just made that up.) and spacious.“
“My husband and I have traveled all around the USA. We have found good bar restaurants in our travels, but this place has been the best!! Sammy our bartender is so professional and had a few laughs with us! The cooks make the best food on their menu. Everything was mouth watering good!! The company that sits with you at the bar or outside makes you feel so at home! You don’t just meet locals but you meet everyone from all over at this Tavern. If anyone has anything bad to say they are probably just having a bad day. When you stop in town check this place out! “
“We came in tonight on the 59¢ wing night, & I just wanted to say that I know they seem to be a little understaffed right now, but the food is always fire and everyone that works there is ALWAYS HUSTLING. Like they are on a mission to make sure everyone is taken care of. Ryan is a great server (we’ve gotten him a few times now that we’ve visited), & when we were in tonight the manager was running all over the place making sure people are good, running the host stand, running food, etc. He was killing it! The employees are all committed to making sure the experience is great. There may be a little bit of a wait to sit, but once you sit the food comes out really fast & it’s super fresh! Definitely worth the visit.“
“I'm little hesitant to do 5 stars seeing as it was dead an we came a hour before close time. There is ALOT of potential ,service was good drinks was so-so she said she was new and learning as she went, food came out hot but the plates was extremely hot like they nuked them or they sat in the lamp too long but overall was tasty. I think they need to take few tables away an set up some entertainment would makes this place a destination eatery not just for people staying but the locals around the area because the lack of spots in the area already give it a try don't know how it will be if it was busy but my experience was good“
“While we were in the area last night we decided to visit Kip's for food and drinks. The bar was packed with patrons for trivia night along with a pool/dart competition. You can find bar seating or some table seating spread all around the pub. We found a table close to the bar. The waitress brought us menus fairly quick. I ordered an angry orchard to drink and split a shareable BBQ wings appetizer with my husband. The portions of the food are massive and it tasted great too. The layout of the pub was a bit confusing and haphazard. They also had a lot of storage items sort of laying around close to tables which made it hard to sit. Overall it was a nice meal and we had a good time.“
“Fun bar experience. Going for the strip mall vibe and did not disappoint. Mood lighting and deer head on the wall. Excellent shot menu. Karaoke starts at 10 pm. Daily drink specials. Clean bathrooms with two stalls. Nice carpet. Would return for a beer soon.“
“Holycow! I ordered a grape Long Island thinking i would get a glass. Nope!!! They gave me a pitcher! We ordered nachos- i got the brisket. My friend got chicken. Both of us hated our meat choices! They give you a huge cup of cheese!I recommend not meat on the nachos.“
“Always have a good time here. The food is above average for a bar, and worth the wait because it doesn't get ready fast. We always have to walk up to the bar to get our drinks and clear our table when we have too many empty bottles. I have only been here through the week for lunch or drinks after work and not on weekends. The bar itself is large enough to spread out, there's 3 pool tables and maybe 7 dartboards, a decent outdoor patio, and a big center bar. There's also cramped parking on both sides of the building. The service is the only struggle here, if they had a second bartender/server on weeknights and you were given cutlery and condiments with your food this place would get 5 stars from me.“
“Hard to get to. Go behind or thru McDonald's.Limited menu but have specials like Taco Tuesday and discounted appetizers and large margaritas on Tuesday.Had the patty melt. Burgers are cooked medium unless specified.Tots, rings, fries and the like. Also have wings.Country music on the jukebox and regulars to belt out the lyrics.“
“Hands down the best choice for a quick bite their Philly was the best in the city the waitress was polite and checked in often.Food was quick and delicious and wasn't loud at allDefinitely will be back once a weekVegetarian options: they have a veggie burgersParking: perfect for the locationKid-friendliness: kids menu prices are perfectWheelchair accessibility: ramp right at the door“
“Great food! Spicy garlic breaded bone-in wings are the bomb! Dirty Blonde beer was an excellent suggestion from our server, Alexandra. Service was spot on. Restaurant was very clean and a great environment. Sign up on their website and get a free entree for your birthday.“
