Fantastic place to catch a band. Good people and good times. Established back when it all began so don't expect a modern facility but what you'll find is a local bar with some tap options, a full bar, and some tasty tavern food. In short - real people some working, some relaxing but everybody's enjoying life.
The Mousetrap is a SoBro institution at Keystone & N. 56th Street, a couple of miles south of Glendale. Great for pool or live music, the place is bigger than it looks from the outside and is always an interesting mix of regulars and folks following bands and from the neighborhood. It's a total dive, but it literally has the miloyst diverse crowd I've ever seen. Hippies and socialites in fur coats .lol ..cheap basic drinks. Always seems to be something going on. I recently moved to neighborhood so it's 2 seconds away. Also as a single woman. The vibe was chill and the bartenders are mindful. Never felt uncomfortable stopping for a drink in the way on home, or getting a cocktail on a random Tuesday by myself. I never felt like prey, so ++ on that.
