Coaches Tavern Reviews
Local sports bar hangout. Relaxed neighborhood setting.
Friendly and helpful staff. I didn't eat anything but the Bud light was cold. 👍
Be aware! In Europe we used to pay by the system Pay pass or just by phone but in this bar you can pay only with physical card or cash.

Coaches Tavern is a bustling bar and restaurant located downtown, known for its great value with meals priced around $10. The Philly and French Dip are highlighted as incredible menu options, while the breaded tenderloin and steak quesadilla ($12) are also favorites among visitors. The service is quick, and the staff are professional and friendly, moving at top speed to get everyone served. Visitors describe the food as mouth-watering and the atmosphere as inviting, making everyone feel at home. The dim lighting and old school & country music add to the chill vibe of the place.
This spot is great for popping in for a few drinks before a game, especially with the energy building as it gets busier. Although the beer selection is standard, the food is delicious, with the French Dip noted for its tenderness. Coaches Tavern is a must-visit for a delicious meal and welcoming experience, especially if attending a show at Gainbridge or Lucas Oil. The place caters well to locals, making it a nice choice for anyone looking for a sports bar with a local vibe.
