“I tried Ascend Coffee for the first time. I love seeing people in a coffee shop. I do not have a problem standing in line. A line is a sign that I am where the good coffee is and my coffee will be hot! My Americano with splash of skim milk and Honey Cardamom syrup is SPOT ON! Then, the pastries I picked up for my husband and I...YES!!!Fig and Goat Cheese Puff; Savory Scone; and Almond Croissant. I snuck a quick bite of all 3 because the only one stopping my curiosity is me! Oh-My-Word! You can bet your last penny that signed up to earn points. As soon as I walked in the door, smelled the aroma of divine espresso and seeing all the people visiting, I knew I found the place for me! It's not just hot and good coffee...you have been transported to another dimension when you meet the amazing people taking your order and fixing your coffee! “Tried two drinks one special don't remember the name but it only came iced and had mint in it. AMAZING lightly savory so nice. And ube which you know is good because salamat. I gave 4 star because the food was inedible. Which isn't their fault because they don't make it. But it was nasty 😕. Got hash burrito. Dry and flavorless but a EXTREME raw onion taste. Tried to eat it with the salsa which was weirdly sweet but then it was just sweet onion taste. Again not their fault they didn't cook it but I did just throw it away. I couldn't power through. Will be back for drink tho“

“This Horror-themed coffee shop is very visually appealing! Horror movies are not a huge thing for me as they actually make me laugh, but I like different so I have been wanting to try this place! It is a small area to sit in, but we went on a late Monday morning to which it was not as busy! The latte I had was filled with good flavor! And Alex got a smoothie which I had to try and it was amazing! He loved it as well! The barista was so beyond friendly! Very top notch! Good vibes and wonderful drinks! Definitely recommend! “In on a work trip from Alabama, and this was by far the best meal we had. One of the best I have ever had. Violet was amazing and so attentive. We shared the Alfredo fries, and I had the fillet and cheesecake for desert. The atmosphere was amazing. She even gave us a tour of the building.“

“You can tell a lot of thought and care went into the design and aesthetics of this place. It's concrete floors and exposed ducts, but somehow they've made it super cozy, mellow and welcoming.

This is a nice chill place to start your morning or end your evening. The coffee and cocktail menu appears to include the classics along with a constantly changing creative mix of non-alcoholic and alcoholic options. It's the Radiohead of coffee/cocktail shops with friendly baristas and bartenders.“

“The food was excellent! The Galette Bretonne was very tasty. I ordered the biscuit sandwich to go and I have to say it was the best biscuit I’ve had since going gluten free (over 15 years ago). It wasn’t a crumbly mess and was just like regular biscuits. I highly recommend Fire and Ice!“
