“First time I have been here an I think I found my favourites locally owned coffee shop to work from an have meetings. Food options are plenty, my sandwich was perfect. Not loud w music so it was easy to work from.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of options to choose from.Kid-friendliness: There weren’t any kids when I was there but there is space if they need to run around.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps in either entrance.“
“Absolutely amazing coffee. The barista was customer friendly and took the time to explain to us the menu since it was our first time. He made a few suggestions that we went with. I had an iced Cafe Miel that was refreshing and delicious - sweetened with honey and notes of cinnamon. My husband had the Biscoff Latte which is Biscoff cookies muddled with the espresso and was decadently delicious. We got baklava that tasted fresh and was the best we have had.“
“Went on a busy Saturday morning. Loved their bright, open interior and seating options. We were still able to get a seat even though there were a lot of people. We are serious coffee drinkers and like strong, darker roasts. We got one cortado and one nitro. Presentation was great! And I love that they served the coffee in actual dishes, not single serve cups. The sour flavor of the coffee was a bit overpowering for us (personal preference). We would have given the coffee 5/5 if it had been less sour. We ordered a cinnamon roll. It was pretty standard (maybe store bought?). A bit pricey for the quality. Next time we would just come for coffee and would probably try other options than the ones we ordered yesterday. They have lovely outdoor seating that will be nice when it gets a bit warmer. Lots of bright windows throughout the place.“
“I needed a very last minute graduation order and Helen Coffee Shop hit a home run for us. The owner was so flexible with designs and timing….but the star was the quality of the sugar cookies and chocolate cupcakes. Seriously some of the best ever! Thank you so much…we’ll definitely be repeat customers!“
“Great coffee & sandwiches, and even better people. Always friendly and quick service, perfect for a to-go order or to sit and relax outdoors on a nice day. Always appreciate small businesses who truly care about the community, and Michelle & team are second to none.“
“Every time I come here to get kolaches it’s wonderful. The employees are all efficient, friendly, and personable. During my visit today, I had a pleasant conversation with Maria, and excellent service. It’s one of many, but I figured I’d finally write a review. In short, highly recommended.“
“Cute little coffee shop inside an ice cream shop, SubZero. My friend and I walked by and thought to grab a delicious warm coffee while we strolled down the Monon. Surprised they had a pistachio mocha w almond milk! It was on their special drinks menu and I was thrilled to have it. The cashier was kind and patient while I looked over the menu and changed my order so I could grab the special coffee! It was nice to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee while walking the Monon and enjoying a friends company.“
“Great shared space with a pastry shop. Cozy seating area. Parking in front on street and behind the building as well. Service is always great. By far the best Chai Latte I’ve had. We’ve been back several times and will continue to make our way there.“
“What a great little coffee shop. I've been here twice. The service is quick, the quality is high, and the friendliness of the service is high and authentic.I've tried the cappuccino and a latte during my visits. Both were good. The kids both loved their drinks and they are very inviting to families...including a small play area for little ones.Check it out and you won't be disappointed!“
“What a wonderful resource in the community! My family has taken photography and Illustrator classes here. My husband 3-D printed a light saber for his Halloween costume and my kids love using the recording room. The staff are very helpful and friendly.“
“Tucked in right next to Patachu right in the middle of Clay Terrace. Really cool ambiance. Plenty of warm lighting to cozy up the metal furniture a bit. Have to come early to snag one of the few upholstered chairs in the place. Employees are super nice. Coffee is really good. About $8 for a large peppermint mocha.“
“The Snickerdoodle coffee was great, broken egg sandwich was perfect! I stopped in on Black Friday and was pleasantly surprised that they were open, a young lady behind the counter even made me a handmade Christmas card! what more could you ask for?“
“This a lovely hidden gem located within walking distance of Hotel Carmichael and the Carmel Farmers' Market (which is where we came from)! Aesthetically, it's really charming with an eclectic mix of vintage decor and plants, mix-and-matched tables and chairs, with dim lighting. We were greeted promptly by a friendly employee. They were very helpful with our questions about the menu, as well. We ended up ordering the red rooibos cappuccino and a vanilla latte, both with oat milk. If you like your drinks sweet, I would definitely recommend asking for additional sweetener because they were on the bitter side but still delicious. As for meals, we both ordered the shakshuka with two eggs, and extra bread for dipping. It was phenomenal! The flavor was incredible. The tomato sauce was vibrant and full-bodied, but the addition of an herbaceous accompaniment really helped to brighten it. The eggs were runny and the yolk added a creamy element, too. We were both left feeling very content with our impromptu brunch and are glad we gave it a try! We'll definitely be back. There are several vegetarian options and the shakshuka can be made vegan. Their menu also states that they decline alterations to the entree items just fyi!“
“Coffee was good. Limited food, but pleased with the mixed nuts pack I got. Only giving 4 stars because variety was limited. Baristas were kind and courteous. Seating area was big enough for my jogger stroller which I appreciated. In the heart of midtown, but literally around the corner from a free parking garage with elevator.“
“Only shop open before 6am on a Saturday, JUST what I needed ! Thanks for my morning pep to this crew. They were working took some orders and still got my order and out in a few minutes they were polite, friendly, and fast! Hope you have a blessed day Starbucks team!“
“We only got drinks, so I don't know how the food was, but the hot gingerbread oat latte and medicine bomb were delicious. The staff was helpful, knowledgeable, quick, and friendly even though they were busy. The parking lot is challenging but well worth it.“
“We stopped in for brunch with our daughter after a doctors appointment. Both service and food are five stars! We ordered the sunny day omelet, huevos rancheros, and French toast. We are not from the area, but will certainly stop at Sunny Fay Cafe the next time we’re in Indy.“
