“We celebrated a dear friend’s birthday there tonight and the experience was amazing! The energy, the atmosphere, the food; everything was remarkable. Absolutely the most memorable dinner. A must in the Indy/Carmel area!”
“Very good appetizers, the crab artichoke dip is officially one of my favorites now. But sadly after spending so much on the twin lobster tails I was severely disappointed. I could barely cut the meat, let alone chew it… had to spit out two bites because it wasn't chewable…. I had to get a steak knife to even attempt to cut it and even then had to tug and rip just to get bite sized pieces. All the effort to be chewing what felt like pure connective tissue and no meat with every bite. I was so excited as it was my birthday dinner as well, live and learn. If I come back again I’ll stick to appetizers and maybe a burger or something for my entree./update. They personally reached out to me to apologize for my experience and refunded my mother, who paid for my birthday dinner, in full for the lobster tails. I truly believe it was just an unfortunate one off. I should have sent them back when I first had the problem. But I’m too polite and non-confrontational for my own good.”

“I drive by this food truck literally multiple times each day as my office is nearby. I keep intending to try it and have not made the time….until now. I ordered carry out via the website (which was a great experience by the way) and omg it was absolutely delicious! I am half Assyrian, so I’ve enjoyed a lot of Middle Eastern food throughout my life. Davani Armenian BBQ is the real deal! Everything tasted as authentic as if a relative or family friend prepared and grilled it from scratch. The beef lulu kabob wrap was incredible…the meat was moist and flavorful, the lavosh wrap was still warm from the grill, and the owner (who was so friendly and kind) was able to provide me the sauce, cilantro & onion, and tomato toppings on the side as I requested. All of it was **so good**! I also ordered the hummus & pita —both of which were quite tasty as well. I highly recommend this food truck to everyone who appreciates authentic, freshly prepared food! And I look forward to placing another order soon, this time as carry out for dinner for my family. Thank you Davani Armenian BBQ!”

“The cutest restaurant on Main! The day I visited the staff was behind and they were up front about being behind. They asked if we could wait 15 mins. so that the staff could catch up. I did not mind and they also were very thankful in return.The menu presented refreshing options for this Carmel resident. It’s one of a kind and the food was delicious. I tried the blackened tilapia sandwich and my husband had the short rib and pimento grilled cheese. We both found our choices satisfactory. I also had the side of coconut rice and black beans which was slightly sweet as expected and still great. As for our appetizer the crab and artichoke dip was delightful.This is a must try for everyone!”

“Despite the innocuous name, this restaurant ended up being delicious and far above the average bar. The atmosphere was lovely, it's February and they served the rice in heart shapes with lots of decorations as well.The waitresses were very nice!”

“Most times I visit I go for the lamb burger - it's that good. However, I have probably had most things on the at this point after dining at BRU Burgers for many years now. The Bru Board (charcuterie and cheese) always makes for a great starter, but the Garlic Three Cheese and Melt Your Face burgers are the standouts that really differentiate BRU from your typical burger joint. Not a fan of their fries, but I am a fan of their black pepper mayo that steals the show. If you're looking for lighter fare, the sriracha Caesar salad (add salmon!) is my favorite and has just enough kick to elevate it beyond traditional. I'd probably skip the wings (only offered in one flavor) but this is a burger place and they do them all very well. Service has always been consistently good with only some minor hiccups which are quickly resolved. It's unabashedly a burger restaurant and, if that's what you're in the mood for, add BRU to your short list of places to go.Parking: During peak times it can be difficult to find close parking near the front, main entrance. However, there is additional parking available in the back.”

“This place has an incredible range of food and is a great place to get quick service on the way home and actually get a meal that isn't loaded with saturated fat (for those that aren't worried about that they have plenty of options that aren't healthy too). I recommend the bowls as they are the most well rounded. The Cuban in particular has plantain, yuca, rice, beans, and pork.Dietary restrictions: Options for the gluten intolerant. I also avoid soy and dairy as well which there are options for here also.”
“What a lovely Sunday brunch with my fiancé and youngest son before his surgery on Monday. Jack had a little bit of a rough time getting all of his impacted wisdom teeth extracted this morning, but hopefully he is on the mend. This was his last meal before his surgery. They have a scratch kitchen. They are open for lunch, brunch and dinner. They have a wide variety of menu items with add on proteins and delicious specialty foodie items. The candy bacon was delicious and crispy and the right mix of sweet and savory, the burger and sauces are juicy and delicious. The crab cakes were wonderful the Parmesan risotto, the gnocchi, the Benedict and hollandaise sauce were perfect and the yolks were runny. I give it a 10 out of 10.”

“Can’t even exaggerate how good this ice cream is. Handel’s ice cream is 7 out of 5 stars. The line can get long but it always goes fast thanks to the great service. A trip to Westfield ALWAYS includes a trip to Handel’s, no matter the time of year!”

“Went on a busy Saturday morning. Loved their bright, open interior and seating options. We were still able to get a seat even though there were a lot of people. We are serious coffee drinkers and like strong, darker roasts. We got one cortado and one nitro. Presentation was great! And I love that they served the coffee in actual dishes, not single serve cups. The sour flavor of the coffee was a bit overpowering for us (personal preference). We would have given the coffee 5/5 if it had been less sour. We ordered a cinnamon roll. It was pretty standard (maybe store bought?). A bit pricey for the quality. Next time we would just come for coffee and would probably try other options than the ones we ordered yesterday. They have lovely outdoor seating that will be nice when it gets a bit warmer. Lots of bright windows throughout the place.”

Interior decor was classy, but the hibachi chef seemed a bit green.I say that because I've been to my fair share of hibachi places, and there were a few hiccups this time: the onion volcano was messy with oil leakage, so the fire didn't shoot up so much as spread around the onion; and his aim was bad so most everyone ended up with fried rice hitting them in the face ?Also, FYI, if you choose soup for your entree, it's a clear soup or like a broth --not miso.”

Called 5 dentists to no avail A friend from RCI recommended the practice under its old name I called and They got me in that afternoon So I don’t hate this dentist or her staff. “This a lovely hidden gem located within walking distance of Hotel Carmichael and the Carmel Farmers' Market (which is where we came from)! Aesthetically, it's really charming with an eclectic mix of vintage decor and plants, mix-and-matched tables and chairs, with dim lighting. We were greeted promptly by a friendly employee. They were very helpful with our questions about the menu, as well. We ended up ordering the red rooibos cappuccino and a vanilla latte, both with oat milk. If you like your drinks sweet, I would definitely recommend asking for additional sweetener because they were on the bitter side but still delicious. As for meals, we both ordered the shakshuka with two eggs, and extra bread for dipping. It was phenomenal! The flavor was incredible. The tomato sauce was vibrant and full-bodied, but the addition of an herbaceous accompaniment really helped to brighten it. The eggs were runny and the yolk added a creamy element, too. We were both left feeling very content with our impromptu brunch and are glad we gave it a try! We'll definitely be back. There are several vegetarian options and the shakshuka can be made vegan. Their menu also states that they decline alterations to the entree items just fyi!”
“This is a really great bar. It has a speakeasy vibe, with low lighting and soft music. It is on the small side, which I enjoyed. The drinks are great and at a higher price point than the surrounding area. This is the second time I've been here and there has only been one bartender. So, the service was slow. I do recommend this as a pre-date spot.”

“What a lovely Sunday brunch with my fiancé and youngest son before his surgery on Monday. Jack had a little bit of a rough time getting all of his impacted wisdom teeth extracted this morning, but hopefully he is on the mend. This was his last meal before his surgery. They have a scratch kitchen. They are open for lunch, brunch and dinner. They have a wide variety of menu items with add on proteins and delicious specialty foodie items. The candy bacon was delicious and crispy and the right mix of sweet and savory, the burger and sauces are juicy and delicious. The crab cakes were wonderful the Parmesan risotto, the gnocchi, the Benedict and hollandaise sauce were perfect and the yolks were runny. I give it a 10 out of 10.”

“Most times I visit I go for the lamb burger - it's that good. However, I have probably had most things on the at this point after dining at BRU Burgers for many years now. The Bru Board (charcuterie and cheese) always makes for a great starter, but the Garlic Three Cheese and Melt Your Face burgers are the standouts that really differentiate BRU from your typical burger joint. Not a fan of their fries, but I am a fan of their black pepper mayo that steals the show. If you're looking for lighter fare, the sriracha Caesar salad (add salmon!) is my favorite and has just enough kick to elevate it beyond traditional. I'd probably skip the wings (only offered in one flavor) but this is a burger place and they do them all very well. Service has always been consistently good with only some minor hiccups which are quickly resolved. It's unabashedly a burger restaurant and, if that's what you're in the mood for, add BRU to your short list of places to go.Parking: During peak times it can be difficult to find close parking near the front, main entrance. However, there is additional parking available in the back.”

“Didn't realize this has opened. Stopped in to get some wings to take home. The bartender was great, welcoming. Then met the owner who gave me the eye roll (lol) when I said I was taking them to go, so got a beer (need better variety- no stouts or porters!). So I decided to try my 4 medium wings. I like hot. Not sure I could go much past medium but I am going to try! They were piping hot and delicious. Flavorful without being salty. The greens he said were "sweet and spicy." Accurate description. Very good. Coleslaw was ok. Giving 5 stars because I like his energy and want him to be successful in HC! I'll be back for sure.”
