“We had a party of 10 for a birthday celebration for our 19 year old grandson and granddaughter. First of all, it was raining and we were pleasantly surprised they had complimentary valet service. The restaurant decor was beautiful and it added to the celebration. The choices of sides to go with the steak we ordered were very good and serving a complimentary salad with the steak was appreciated. Our server Matthew and the assistant Michele were exceptional and made the celebration very special. We will go here again.”
“Love Monterey in Carmel! Beautiful restaurant, great service, and even better food!”
“Petos is a family owned, authentic Greek restaurant with amazing food, and fabulous & enthusiastic service. They always make you feel special every time! 10/10”
“We came in from out of town with family and I have to admit, this place was amazing! Miki did a wonderful job serving us and the food quality was perfect. We brought our 6 yo daughter and they did a wonderful job by keeping her happy throughout to prevent any unhappy child moments. Thank you all for a wonderful dining experience and btw the Miyazaki Wagyu was perfection!”

“The salad was awesome. The house made blue cheese dressing was incredible. I had the salmon, probably the best salmon I've had in my life and I'm old! We had a great meal!”
“Josephine in Carmel — Vive la French Revolution (of Flavor)! 🇫🇷🥩🍷 We double-dated with my sister and brother-in-law last night at Josephine, where Executive Chef Andrew Popp (of Ambrosia Hospitality Group, owned by Dan and Anna Cage) continues to rewrite the book on French cuisine in Indianapolis—one perfect plate at a time. Let’s start with the steak frites. I’ve had them everywhere from Chicago to Paris, and I’ll say it: these are the best. Crispy, salty perfection paired with a steak so tender it practically whispered, merci. I came for the frites (my favorite), but I’ll be back for the boeuf bourguignon, which appeared as last night’s special. We ordered one for the table “just to taste” — and then promptly considered ordering four more. Julia Child would have wept tears of butter-scented joy. Service? Polished but friendly — like a Parisian waiter who’s actually glad you’re there. Drinks? Excellent. Company? Lovely. Evening? Perfect. Chef Popp, if you’re reading this: consider this my official campaign to make that boeuf bourguignon a permanent resident on your menu. Vive Josephine! #JosephineCarmel #AmbrosiaHospitalityGroup #FrenchCuisine #SteakFrites #BoeufBourguignon #IndyEats #FoodieFinds #BonAppétit”

“This is the best Thai place ever! It is not like all of the others around the area serving identical dishes, there are amazing chef creations/family heirloom recipes that will save your SOUL on your worst behavior day as a parent. Promise.”

“I needed something healthy and quick before my next appointment and Bowlify Superfoods was nearby. I ordered an açaí bowl and the sushi toast which is topped with avocado and smoked salmon. Everything was delicious. I do not typically like most prepared açaí bases because they are too sweet, but this blend was perfect and well balanced. You can choose from their signature bowls or create your own, and they do not charge for extra toppings which is great. The owner was very nice and helpful too. I’ll definitely stop in again soon.”
“These farm to table type breakfast places have always bothered me a bit. They're great if you want something lighter for breakfast—but let's be real here, sometimes you just want something smothered in sausage gravy. These places never seem to offer a good version of both things, so you end up needing to decide what you want to eat before you choose where to go. When I first tried First Watch, their menu was limited and I felt like my choices were either quinoa bowl, or an egg served with an arugula salad. Not exactly my style of breakfast. But I have kept coming back because each time it seems like the menu gets expanded and seasonal items are added, and I really appreciate that. Sometimes I'm in the mood for a veggie omelet, sometimes I want bacon and cheese. I'm glad there seem to be more options that play both sides of that now. The quality of the food has always been excellent, so with more options comes more interest from me. I'll keep coming back for now to continue to check out their new offerings, but still no breakfast arugula for me.”
“What a cool space. The service was great and the food was delicious. The staff was kind and gave my 3 girls free donuts and cookies just because. Will definitely be back”
“Great place to hang out and play golf! Everyone here is super friendly and helpful!”

“When I tell you I love this place. You have no idea I live about 2 hours away and will make a trip JUST to go here and eat. The burgers are fun unique and so appetizing. My mouth waters just looking at the pics. The fries are to DIE FOR! And if you like Garlic Aoli its only like .50 cents if I remember right to add it”

“New Years Eve Night, went for dinner for 2. Excellent food. Yellow curry was delicious and hot pad Thai was the perfect heat. Someone was there to fill the water every time my glass was at the halfway point. Im sure if it were busier they may not be able to but super fast service, wonderful food, great mood”
“We took my boyfriend’s mother and her friend here to celebrate their birthdays last month. The food was great, the atmosphere and decor were dazzling, and the customer service was top notch. We especially loved the cake, chicken piccata, and the soup. We will definitely be back.”
“Came here for a date night expecting a great steakhouse, but 1933 Lounge in Carmel honestly exceeded expectations. The atmosphere is exactly what you want upscale but still comfortable, with dim lighting and a lively energy that makes it feel special without being over the top.
What really stood out, though, was the service especially Steve O. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience feel personalized. He gave great recommendations and checked in at just the right times without ever being intrusive. You can tell he genuinely cares about making sure guests have a great experience.
The food absolutely delivered. The shrimp cocktail had that signature St. Elmo heat strong and unforgettable. The appetizers were cooked perfectly and delicious. Drinks were also on point and well-crafted.
It’s definitely on the pricier side, but it feels worth it for the quality, service, and overall experience. Perfect spot for a date night or special occasion.
Overall, one of the best dining experiences in Carmel huge credit to Steve O. for making it memorable. Will definitely be back.”
“Best Italian food in Carmel. Everything is made from scratch and the service was amazing. Very friendly staff. Will visit again before heading back to Phoenix. Thank you for a wonderful experience and evening.”
“I absolutely love crumbl cookies especially in Carmel and overall 10/10 for the flavors. The dubai chocolate brownie is 11/10 chefs kiss, please try Crumbl you won't regret it.”

“Definitely my go to spot in Carmel, and Connor behind the bar is my go to guy. That guy has a deep knowledge of beer and always has the perfect suggestion for what to try. With how deep the menu is on their rotating taps, it’s nice to be able to talk with someone who can ask about your tastes and immediately know what to give you. It definitely turns each trip to Sun King an experience, and you don’t get that just anywhere. Couldn’t recommend Sun King or Connor any more.”
“It’s exactly the way I’ve always dreamed of a local place. Traci, the owner, comes by and recommends a drink. She tells you the story of the musician that is playing tonight. Her husband, Brian, is behind the bar and pouring himself another wine. He doesn’t want to chat like Traci does, but he is fussing over the food menu. Making sure it is perfect. Helping the musician make sure the sound is right. People keep bustling in and out from the neighborhood. You recognize them, clasp their hand and act like you remember their name. You will get it next time. The musician is amazing. This time it’s a guy with an epic mustache, a keyboard and he has 1032 songs that he can sing. Last time you came it was a woman with a guitar with an amazing voice. Before that it was a jazz duo with a saxophone. They are playing your requests between original songs. You can’t believe this place is real. It’s like you’ve always imagined. Like you always wanted. The food is good. The bartenders are friendly and know their craft. Your friends show up and Traci asks the people next to you at the bar if they can move over one seat to let them sit next to you. They join in the conversation and you recognize them the next time you come in. It’s simply amazing. Live music every Friday and Saturday and other days for events. Love this place. Can’t recommend it enough.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Had a hot caramel macchiato with an extra shot of espresso, temp was just right to start drinking right away. It wasn’t too sweet but if you like a bold flavor I highly suggest the extra shot because I always get an extra shot and it was a little weak for me but it still tasted good I just like BOLD.”
“Christine made the most incredible Italian Millefoglie dessert for 180 guests at my daughter’s wedding. It was a beautiful attraction set on on its own table at the reception. Guests raved about its freshness and taste. I highly recommend Stacco House if you are searching for something unique as well as delicious. Christine created a masterpiece with her attention to detail, and her professionalism was extraordinary.”
“Looked online to find an authentic French baguette. Sent my husband on a 20 minute drive to buy a loaf. The lady on the phone said that their baker had learned to make the baguettes in France so they were indeed authentic. Husband returned with a $5.00 loaf and when I cut into the very small loaf, it looked like a whole grain piece of bread fom Kroger or Fresh Market. It did not taste like a French loaf nor did it have the texture of a French baguette. So disappointed in the whole experience and will definitely not return for bread!”
“Some really good BBQ. They have a Brunswick Stew which is always a favorite of mine. They also have large portions. I took half my sandwich home. They also make it easy to get more meat on the sandwich if you want it to be ginormous. It was my first time here, but will be back soon.”

Drive-Thru Restaurants
“The owners are wonderful caring people. I have dealt with thousands of companies throughout the United States with my business, and they are by far the most dedicated to customer service I have experienced. Although a little bit of a drive, this location is well worth the service you will receive. We have now moved our business to them and will use them only for all future orders and company orders. We will miss them for a couple of months; they will be closed for winter, but we can always buy a couple of gallons to get us through...LOL If you get a chance and are in the Carmel area, stop by and see what I mean when I say, "Rita's Carmel location is all about CUSTOMER SERVICE done right."”
“Traveling from Michigan and came across Upland Brewing. Stopped in for a beer and a quick snack. The Juiced in Time Haze IPA and Two of Tarts sour were both amazing. The staff were great! And the food was tasty, we will definitely be back and highly recommend if you’re in the area.”

“We had the best dinner at Verde last night! Super delicious food, wonderful service and the flowers and plants are so beautiful- a wonderful atmosphere! 5 stars!”
“Easily the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to! The chips and salsa are delicious and the house made guacamole was amazing. I ordered the crab enchiladas, and they were perfect. My husband ordered the Arroyo enchiladas which were also delicious. Their margaritas are good as well, and we were impressed with the flan we got for dessert. Food, service and atmosphere were all great. Definitely will be coming back and recommending to others!”

“I wanted to share a positive experience with the Hazeldale Patachou. My 10-year-old daughter, lost her retainer and the hostess on the shift and one of the bus boys went into the back and dug through the trash to find her retainer. I truly appreciate it, they went above and beyond their job descriptions.”
“Here from VA! Hands down best spot to dine! My friend and I received the BEST customer service from Spencer! I tried ELK for the first time and the marshmallow sauce with the sweet potato waffle fries were SPOT ON, delicious!!! An experience I’ll never forget! So good, I came back a second time during my 2 week work stay, Chase was just as phenomenal! Bring bubs to VA!!! - xo, The Gals from VIRGINIA!”
“Easily one of my favorite pizza places in the Indianapolis area. It’s the dough that really stands out to me, but the toppings and cheese are also fantastic. The employees are always friendly. It’s so nice having a little pizza place so close to my home and heart. My family and I love coming here and I hope people support Tony’s not just because the pizza is delicious, but because it’s important to support the little guy in a sea of chain pizzas restaurants.”
“Great Jain-friendly poke, with options for sauces that don’t contain onion, garlic or egg: Spicy ginger and creamy sesame dressing.
Bubble teas were great as well:
1) Mango pomelo sago
2) Drizzled brown sugar milk tea (brown sugar jelly instead of tapioca)
Both drinks safe to order at 100% sweetness.”
“The food here is absolutely FANTASTIC, scratch kitchen perfection. Great service and atmosphere! You cannot go wrong here.”
“The food here is absolutely decadent. We’ve eaten here a couple different times and they never fail to impress. The hospitality is top-tier, and the atmosphere is unmatched. 10/10.”
“Divvy is one of my favorite places to go for an evening out! I always have a wonderful time. The food is delicious, the service is exceptional and the atmosphere is wonderful. I look forward to the next time I get to go! I can't wait to try the brunch!”
“The Kitchen at Pickle on Penn is an absolute gem - every meal I’ve had has been delicious, and the service is always quick and friendly. The upbeat atmosphere and welcoming staff make it a place you’ll want to come back to again. Highly recommend!”

“Can’t say enough about how good the cooking is at this restaurant! I really enjoyed the Shrimp and Grits risotto! And the Pork special was absolutely wonderful. It came with collard greens and a southern style gravy that I don’t know could be so good! Don’t forget to try their wedge salad. It’s a winner. Overall I’m super happy to have this restaurant in Carmel.”

“Came in with a group, we had the upstairs room then told we had to be gone by 7pm We reserved the room at 515. So with that said, servers ok. Food came at 645. Manager told the group that we need to be out by then. 7pm because it was reserved for another group at 7. He told us that the staff didn’t inform him about it. Really kinda not our problem at that time. We were 30+ strong. Kids and all. I walked out at 715. Doesn’t seem right. Not mad but a concern with staff and communication. Food good, service ok, slow at times , restaurant was not totally full. I could see open tables. Yes I would come back, but come on. The manager should have known of the situation and made a plan B the weather was in the 70’s they could have used the courtyard. Ok sorry done.”

“This place is the best! Everything is beautiful AND delicious! The service is top tier! I accidentally pre-ordered a cake to the Westfield location and drove to Carmel, but they encouraged me to just take a cake they had already instead of driving to the other location and totally saved me from my mistake, no questions asked! They really just wanted me to have a good experience picking up and enjoying the beautiful and delicious Mango Cloud cake!”

“I had a last minute change in Thanksgiving plans and needed a bread for my Celiac girls. I found Lydia and placed a last minute order. Let me tell you the croissants were fantastic! I sent the few we didn’t eat with our meal on the 6 hr drive back to TN and she called to say thy made the perfect snack on her drive! We will definitely be ordering more and trying new things!”
“We were hungry and it was a long day so we stopped here because it was easy. I was shocked. The food was delicious we had burgers and a ribeye sandwich. I have zero complaints. Quality beef. Flavorful. And for the price it was even more amazing. We will come back for sure. It’s also a great grocery store if you haven’t been.”
“Amazing food in an elegant atmosphere. Highly recommend for a fancy night out . Great wine selection , the menu is outstanding”
