“I got the Birria tacos and they were absolutely delicious, many places don't do Birria well but this is not one of them! Very large portion, especially for the price! Staff was friendly and the food was as good as it comes! I will certainly be back for more! I'd like to try the other things on the menu but with birria tacos thay good idk if I will or not“

“We walked in on a Friday and had a wonderful experience. Chips, our own individual salsa bowls for dipping, and a basket chips came out warm! Ok, we were hungry so there were some baskets of chips which we were not above eating even during our meal. Was pleasantly surprised by the menu, which included pozole. I had been there many years ago, and this is not the same restaurant. Dishes were beautifully presented. I had the Estrella de oro bowl and the skirt steak for $18. Given all the Carmel downtown trendy restaurants, De Oro Mexican Grill is off the beaten track and worth it. We will be returning! Hopefully soon.“

“I had a great experience here. The food was delicious, the environment clean, the staff friendly and accommodating (especially Kathy), and service was fast. A terrific quick stop for lunch while out shopping in Clay Terrace. I will be back.“
