“Great place to meet up with friends for a drink and catch up (note that they are 21+). Dark and moody, intimate space with many options for seating.

They specialize in whiskey, but true to my normal self, I had the Anniversary Margarita. It was great! So good that I had a second. Wish it came with salt on the rim, which would really elevate the flavors.

Was fairly busy when we were there, but bc it’s small, the noise wasn’t overwhelming. I have hearing issues and a lot of places nowadays are just too chaotic for me, but I had zero problems here.

Food-wise: I had the Baja fish tacos, which came on a huge platter! Three big tacos and huge side of chips and salsa. The tacos were a bit spicy, so if you don’t like that, maybe try something else.

My bff had the French onion soup and pretzel sticks. Said it was very good and liked the pretzels so much she took home what she couldn’t finish (it’s a big enuf portion for 2 to snack on btw).

Really great bartenders and staff. Very friendly and accommodating. All in all, I’m thinking this will become a favorite meeting spot!“

“What a perfect evening at 1933 Lounge in Carmel for our anniversary! Vanessa was our server and an absolute delight! Professional but very friendly and personable. Extremely attentive! The tuna poke on the seafood tower was INCREDIBLE! It brought us back to our honeymoon in Hawaii :) It was so good we asked for another side of just that. Should be it's own appetizer ❤️ The artichokes were SO good! Sad to hear it's coming off the menu. The Heirloom tomato and buratta salad was out of this world - truly next level dish. Originally from New England I appreciated the lobster bisque so much. I'd put it up against a New England lobster bisque any time - multiple actual chunks of lobster 🤤 And the bourbon and butter dessert was in a class by itself - it was rich but light at the same time... different textures, salty and sweet, cold and warm - just an excellent dessert - Vanessa knew what she was doing in recommending it! I wish I had gotten more pictures- we just started digging in as dishes arrived! My only criticism I can offer were the oysters were very gritty :( Couldn't eat them all and the seafood tower was so esthetically pleasing but the lobster tail was just unceremoniously placed on the ice lol Tasty! Just not placed in an elegant way like the rest. Would highly recommend - we're definitely returning (and asking for Vanessa 💗)“

“This was our first time visiting this amazing family-owned restaurant. Being from New York City we often miss the quality of sushi we had available to us out there now that we are in the Indy area. But the place changed that! Will definitely be our go-to for sushi from now on and our conversation with co-owners Faith and Kevin made our meal that much more incredible when we had added context of their vision for Okonori as we dined.“

“We eat here regularly. This is the first time we had a problem. Placed a carry out order, but half the food was not included. We didn't notice until I got home (I checked the receipt to make sure everything that we ordered was listed on the receipt but I did not open the bags in the restauarant since they were stapled shut). No answer on their telephone initlaly but did did reach someone after multiple attempts. They refunded everything that was missing and even the items that had minor things missing which was very nice of them.“

“Can’t say enough about how good the cooking is at this restaurant! I really enjoyed the Shrimp and Grits risotto! And the Pork special was absolutely wonderful. It came with collard greens and a southern style gravy that I don’t know could be so good! Don’t forget to try their wedge salad. It’s a winner. Overall I’m super happy to have this restaurant in Carmel.“

“We went to the Feinstein Dinner Theater inside the Hotel Carmichael in Carmel, IN. Specifically the Frank Sinatra show, which was phenomenal!. We each had a wedge salad & we also shared a charcuterie board which was unique. It had quite a variety of cheeses, sausages, pickles, crackers, mustard sauce, olives, strawberries, figs, ham, a smaller, square sized honey comb, really crispy bread, & a few other things. The show was fantastic!“

“We were hungry and it was a long day so we stopped here because it was easy. I was shocked. The food was delicious we had burgers and a ribeye sandwich. I have zero complaints. Quality beef. Flavorful. And for the price it was even more amazing. We will come back for sure. It’s also a great grocery store if you haven’t been.“

“We had a delightful time at Vivante. The cocktails, service, and entrees were all superb. Lisa was an amazing server and would recommend her to anyone and everyone.

I had the puttanesca, Caesar salad, and the Revival No. 2 cocktail. Highly recommend all three and am eager to go back and explore the menu further.“
