“You wouldn't know it by the name (or the location), but this is one of the most popular places for gyros in the city.
The deli counter is located in the back of a seemingly rundown Marathon gas station. It's staffed completely separate from the gas station convenience store, but you still pay for your order up front.“

“I am so happy I found this place. The food is absolutely amazing. I tried the butter chicken and the Turkish baklava. I am not exaggerating when I say it is the best tasting butter chicken and baklava I have ever had. You can tell they take pride in the taste of their food. I will be a regular here. I couldn’t help but take a bite of the food before I took pictures.“

“We went to Canal Bistro on April 18th; the food was incredibly delicious and our waiter, Reema, was fantastic. We had a baby with us and everyone was kind and considerate of all of us. I recommend this restaurant highly, and say Give Reema a big raise!!!“
“This place was instant love for me. The flavors are so vibrant and fresh. The service is quick and kind. The decor and seating are utilitarian, but I noticed driving by today that they’ve added some outdoor tables for the warmer months and that will be nice. I like that the containers and bags they use are earth friendly. And last but certainly not least, I really love their sumac slaw. For my birthday, I was getting my favorite things from my favorite restaurants and asked if I could buy a side of slaw. They kindly just gave me a little portion. They didn’t even know it was my birthday, they just did me a solid. I keep going back for many reasons.“

“There is NOTHING like a Gyros from Sam's Gyros. The "BEST" I've had in My life NO one can touch them. I brag about the Gyros here and I tell everyone you will fall in love with them....and you won't find nowhere else that can make an original Gyros like here. I'm hooked.😉😉😉“

“Awesome family ran business. We’ve never had an issue with food and only on instance with slow service. The owner was quick to respond and after was smooth sailing. They can’t fix issues if you don’t bring them up. Food is always wonderful. The owner typically stops by and says hello.“
