I tried it through DoorDash for the first time and loved it! This is coming from someone who isn't a calzone fan!
We were In town for a baseball tournament trying to find a place to have dinner for our sons bday that’s tomorrow and randomly found this place and let me say best place I’ve ever been the owner came out welcomed us and made our son feel so special on his bday thank you so much again highly recommend best calzone and soda I’ve ever had !!

Based on the reviews, Sauce on the Side is a restaurant with extremely kind staff and a manager who speaks to customers. The food is absolutely amazing, always freshly prepared, and made in house. The variety is great, with unique choices. The calzones are always satisfying, with favorites including figgy piggy, Costanza, Duke, Cock-A-Doodle Noodle, Fatty B, Pancho Villa, and Meat Me In St Louie. The figgy piggy is a little sweet a little savory. The ranch that comes with it is the cherry on top. The salads are excellent with super fresh ingredients and are refreshingly different. The dining area is clean and staff are professional. Pops available are different than your run of the mill options, and Lucky cola is bomb. The restaurant is one of the best in the Indianapolis area, and customers would definitely come again.
