“Considering what this is, please view the 4 rating as very strong. A 4 means good, and that is exactly what this place was. We were renting on Morse a few blocks away and wanted some basic sandwiches to bring back to the house. They have enough variety to satisfy all of our interests. Walked up and placed the order. Trouble is, about 20 high school age kids came up right after, all ordering just ice cream. It was obvious that this overwhelmed the staff as they scrambled to fill the orders. I think getting ice cream out somehow got ahead of getting the meals out, so my order took a while. Still, if on the lake or in the area, this beats fast food and is supporting a small local business.”

“Kid-friendliness: Awesome! My 7 year old loves to place her own order and they were patient with her. They truly enjoyed talking with her. After we paid for our food, the manager gave her a cookie "for being a good friend." As we left the store, my daughter looked up at me and smiled saying, "Yes. Friend complete!" (She says this every time she has a honestly good encounter with a new acquaintance.)”

“Best place in town to get a blizzard hands down The ice cream is always amazing here Love their ice cream cakes for birthdays and special occasions. The restaurants are a little dated but that is to be expected. No one comes here for the atmosphere they come here for the ice cream. The chicken strip basket is pretty good not a big fan of the rest of the food but definitely would highly recommend the blizzards”

“I live in Texas but saw a CBS interview of this lovely place with the owner. First of all I wish I lived closer because my mouth was watering the entire time, but most importantly you could tell the owner, Chef Samir, is absolutely in love with what he does and how he does it. When a chef puts as much love into his food as he does, you already know its going to be amazing. This restaurant has made it to my bucket list. I hope to meet Chef Samir some day!”

There was hardly any meat in it and the Mac and cheese was meh. I feel it is very over priced for the quantity. Probably won't return.”
