“Tried this place and I was blown away. This is a secret gem for sure. We had reservations which was good because on a Saturday at 7:30 it was packed. There was, however plenty of parking around the building so no worries there. The menu has something for everyone, steak, sandwiches, salads, pasta, just a wide variety of items to choose from. It took us all some time to pick what we wanted because everything sounded so good. I landed on steak and a baked potato. It was cooked to perfection. Because it was my birthday celebrations, I also was able to pick from a dessert. I picked the carrot cake. While typically I'm not the biggest fan of carrot cake, the server said how amazing it was and she was right. Lastly - They do have a speak easy type area in the basement called the cellar. We were able to have dinner down there (we put the request in ahead of time), but there were many people down there just have cocktails. Really nice vibe down there where you would want to go even if you aren't having dinner.”

“Italian Beef self appointed critic here. Grew up in Chicago land on them and based on the reviews thought I'd try them. The beefs are delicious. More then comparable and I am a big fan. Surprising in this small town!”

“The salad was very fresh and tasty and the bread sticks were great. Not a fan of the lasagne sauce but the spaghetti florentine was delicious as well as the fettuccini Alfredo. Meatballs were small and dense and had the same sauce as the lasagna. Overall some good and some not so good.”

“I always say that everyone has "their" Mexican restaurant. This is not mine but only because I don't live in Cicero. The food, staff, and atmosphere was amazing and it was reasonably priced. You also only get 1 chip refill which the diablo on one shoulder doesn't like but the angel on the other nods approvingly.Parking: The parking lot wraps around the building and there seems to be plenty, especially over lunch.”

“I want to write and say I was over pleased with the service and the sandwiches I received on Sunday November 13th 2022 around 6:30 PM Both young men working at the time was pleasent as they prepared my sandwiches we talked about the Indianapolis Colts that was playing at the time We also discussed the weather and the fact day light savings time made it dark way to early.As for my sandwiches they was fantastic for awhile at alot of Subways your lucky to get a minimun of toppings Lettuce Pickles Etc. however not at this one it was great. I read some negative reviews about this Subway however will let you know in my opinon it has changed and is much much better than the older reviews”

“Ben's is the best BBQ! My previous favorite is Oklahoma Joe's/Joe's in Kansas City.Similar origin stories.It starts with the smoker. Oklahoma Joe built his own and so does Ben. I was invited into the inner sanctum of the smoke house to see the "Red October" offset.All of the BBQ is smoked with local Indiana cherry.Ben's is located in an old used car lot in old downtown Westfield where parking can be very dear. Prime spots are located back by the picnic tables.If you don't preorder and walk up you will need to be there at noon if you want BBQ before sell out.I did a walk up visit on Saturday Apr 6 for brisket and pulled pork and returned Apr 7 Sunday for ribs, pork belly and turkey. The ribs are spare vs baby back so plenty of meat and finished with a rub. All meats are fork tender.My preference for pulled pork is Carolina style referred to as just BBQ in the Carolinas. Served family style in a bowl with finishing sauce choices of mustard or apple cider vinegar available if desired. Ben's serves his pulled pork chopped and lightly sauced, all good but not my preference. Ben would most likely indulge Carolina BBQ presentation if requested.Ben's is a BBQ shack but has picnic tables out back if you wish to eat while there.If you don't visit Ben's BBQ Shack you don't know what you missing and if you wait until next weekend you will only be a week older when you do.Parking: Parking in old downtown Westfield is dear.Arrived early at Ben's and park back by the picnic tables”

“We were so excited to make our first visit to this gem. It was highly recommended by friends and has so many stellar reviews Being first time callers, our choice was to eat in the bar. Sean the bartender was super busy,as this restaurant was packed, took great care of us. The patrons in the bar provided some killer recommended choices and we took advantage of them. First choice was the fried ravioli. Excellent n could only eat 2 of the 4. We split the beet salad. Perfect choice. Next was the chicken piccata for my baby's birthday n she loved it! I had the lasagna w the vodka sauce( you can choose your own). Spot on!!! Negroni n Chianti were delicious n service was great! Will be back for sure!!!”

“My wife and I love Slapfish. It's has unique seafood that has great flavor. I've tried a couple of items on their menu and been happy every time. My wife has a gluten allergy and hasn't had an issue with the food -- she loves their Power Bowl. The only downside is it's a bit pricy for ordering at a register versus sitting down. “We were here for a few weeks visiting family and saw this cafe and wanted to try it and it's absolutely amazing! Cute place!! There are many breakfast choices and coffees and teas. I got the spring edition matcha latte with cherry blossom cold foam, with skim milk, So delicious! The ham & cheese everything croissant and avocado toast was both delicious. The girls were all amazing and very nice and awesome at helping us. On top off all of that the prices are great. Highly recommend!”
