I really appreciate that they refuse to take more orders than they can artfully bake/decorate each week, and that there are always ready-made options for the times when I forget to preorder or need a pick-me-up for a friend.“
“Favorite ice cream place EVER!!! They never go skimpy or anything, and I love getting the waffle bowl, sometimes chocolate dipped with sprinkles depending on my mood. I love mudpie mojo and peanutbuttercup perfection!! Currently they also have the animal crossing paradise one which looks simple but it's actually SO delicious & I highly recommend! My favorite though is the take 5 flavor!! It's seasonal, so it won't be out forever, but I love the pretzels and the peanutbutter cups and other add ins with the chocolate and peanutbutter!! ??? Legit you cannot go wrong here. Also I've had their birthday cakes, and they're AMAZING!!! I grew up with this place and have always loved going here ?? Definitely has the BEST icecream I've ever had!!“
“Wow, wow, and wow! We were in town for a short 5 night stay to watch our grandchildren while our son and Dil had taken a birthday trip to Austin, Texas.During their absence, we pulled together a surprise Austin Texas birthday party. Thanks to Jim & Kristy at Vanilla Bean for creating this master piece of a cake! It is exactly as I had imagined and more.The craftsmanship was on point! The customer service was over the top. It was a very pleasant experience with nice people. We highly recommend Jim & Kristy and truly truly appreciate them being there at the right time.Our Dil was soooo surprise, not so much for the party, because the grandkids gave it up as soon as they got home. But... she had no idea what the cake looked like.When she saw the cake she couldn't take her eyes off of it. Taking pictures at every turn. “Chris made a delicious Pecan pie for my dad's 80th bday. My dad said it was the best he ever had. I thought Chris outdid himself by using the freshest/best ingredients... maple syrup from Vermont, pecans from Georgia, etc. Come to find out that is 'just the way he runs his business's. He is excellent and I can't wait to order from him again.“
