“You won't find more authentic chinese in the entire state of IN, maybe entire midwest. Go there and bring a Mandarin speaking friend w you to order the food! Otherwise you're just ordering American style Chinese food. They take personal orders from an unspoken menu if ordered from in Mandarin. That is where you get the legit amazing food.
Service is non-existent to off-putting but you just need to ignore that here and know about going in.“

“Mura is the best restaurant in Bloomington. Tuni treats us with amazing hospitality every time. We have become regulars. Right when you sit down you’re given amazing samples like salads, sweet potatoes, carrots and cabbage and kimchi. “I've eaten here twice recently. The view is always amazing. The food is good. My complaint is how slow the service is. This last time we were there for two hours. Not because we were just enjoying our time but because it took that long to get our food.“

“Came for an early-ish dinner and it was pretty quiet. The service and atmosphere were both kind of bare bones. There was no music so it was almost silent. I was had someone come to my table to take my order and bring my food but no one came by again after I got the food, so I went to the register to pay. Maybe a bit of a language barrier with the staff. I asked for jelly in my drink and got tapioca boba instead and generally felt like they didn’t really understand what I was saying.
I got a tofu rice bowl with miso sauce and a green milk tea with boba. The rice bowl was the perfect size for one meal, and there was a lot of tofu which made it filling. It was simple, with just the protein and sauce over steamed greens and rice, and I felt like it was pretty healthy. It didn't blow me away but it was good! The green milk tea was also good, strong but not too sweet. Some versions of the menu call it matcha but it very much tasted like green tea, not matcha. I think it was from a powder mix but that’s fine.
Reasonable prices. If I remember correctly, the rice bowl was about $13 and the boba was about $6 including the topping. I liked the food and would definitely eat here again.“

My wife and I were having lunch and I witnessed a family come in with their big Golden Retriever and they immediately accommodated them with a nice big table on the patio and without a second someone said I'll run and get the dog dish and some water for the sweet dog! “Pizza X is arguably my favorite pizza joint in town. They have a lot of different toppings as well as different sauces to choose from. My favorite thing to do is create my own pizza, usually with a pesto sauce, chicken, Roma tomatoes, banana peppers, pineapple, spinach, and bacon. Because I can make any weird combination I like, haha. Most recently I had the nacho man Randy sausage featured pizza of the month and it was really good, and even aesthetically pleasing. They load toppings well, and never disappoint. Their nacho cheese is my absolute favorite to get from any pizza place. I’m not sure if it’ll let me upload the picture I have, but if it does you’ll see it.“

“Pretty impressed! Decided to come here for Saturday lunch with my family and made a reservation online at the last minute, but we would have been able to get in without. Without the patio open though, I can see it filling up easily. The atmosphere is fun (board games!) and bright but somewhat industrial with the distillery next door. The staff was friendly and very enthusiastic but just a little overbearing for me. The samples they brought around of two of their spirits (a gin and amaro) were very good and much appreciated.
As appealing as the cocktails sounded, I didn't feel like drinking, so I got the Last Call mocktail. I couldn't pick up much 5 spice, but it was still a pleasant and refreshing light drink. I had a sip of my parents' old fashioned and Smokin' in the Girls' Room, and those were both really good - I was really into the lapsang souchong tea-infused rum in the Smokin' in the Girls' Room and would've ordered it for myself if I'd been drinking.
To eat, I had a mushroom melt (the veganized version with vegan cheese) with the OMG fries. I really liked the sandwich; I loved the giardiniera and the jus, and you usually can't get that sort of thing in a vegetarian or vegan sandwich, so I was really happy to have it here and thought it was done well. The OMG fries were also really good. I don't like fries if they're plain, but these were heavily seasoned with a delicious spice blend. The vegan version of the fries omits the truffle aioli that they normally come with, but they were plenty flavorful with just ketchup. We shared a Thai tea creme brulee for dessert. I am crazy about Thai tea so I expected to like this, and it was everything I hoped for. The tea flavour was nice and strong, and the tapioca pearls were a nice little enhancement.
They do an auto-gratuity of 20% no matter the party size, which I'm not completely opposed to, but I think if you're doing that you at least need to have a note on the menu rather than have the waiter tell you as they're giving you the bill, or better (in my opinion) to just raise the prices by 20% and sell yourself as a no-tipping restaurant. But it wasn't a huge deal in this situation; our waitress was good and we would've left a good tip anyway.“
