BuffaLouie's at The Gables is a popular restaurant known for its great staff, awesome atmosphere, and delicious food, particularly the boneless wings and "sweet q" sauce. The restaurant features quick service where customers walk up to order, and staff call names to deliver food. It is often packed, especially on game days with a very sports bar vibe, but the service remains excellent. The seating includes cozy two-tops and church pews that accommodate big groups. The food receives high praise, including the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich that is crispy on the outside, and tender and juicy on the inside, and the delicious Mendoza burger with crunchy edges. The vegan gluten free black bean burger is also outstanding. The wings have good flavor and a bit of zing, and the 87 sauce and onion rings are favorites, though the onion rings had no seasoning. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a great dining experience close to the Sample Gates.
