Hands down the BEST Mexican restaurant in Monroe County. Great portion sizes and prices! But above all the food is incredible, authentic, and full of flavor. We’ve eaten many times since they opened and continue to go back. Anytime some comes into town we take them here and will continue to do so. The service is amazing as well. Don Chuy Mexican Restaurant is hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Monroe County. The food is incredible, authentic, and full of flavor with great portion sizes and prices. The service is amazing, and the staff and owners are very friendly and care about the food they offer and their customers. The chips and salsa are a delightful start with perfectly crisp chips and salsa with just the right amount of kick. The Tamarindo agua is one of the best, with a perfect balance between flavor and sweetness. The chicken is incredibly tasty and cooked to perfection with wonderful seasoning. The Quesadilla Don Chuy is AMAZING, and the combo of three steak tacos with rice and beans is delicious. The homemade tres leches is absolutely delicious. Other items include the hot and spicy burrito, a birria plate, and a tamale loco. The dishes are really awesome and unique, and the menu has so many options. The place is super clean and well kept. The service is so good and fast, and the staff is SUPER nice and helpful. For being a new restaurant, the experience is especially blown away.
