“Annika was our server and she was so amazing!!! She checked in on us and made sure our food was prepared correctly. When my food had cheese on it by mistake, she was quick to get it fixed. She made jokes and was very humorous. She knew a lot about all of the beers as well and was able to recommend us a good one. Though it was loud, she still took all order correctly and was very kind to us.“

“Only been here once a few years ago (it’s a good bar), but they did a good job shoveling the snow after Fern, unlike other bars on the block. Shoveled the snow off the sidewalk all the way to the curb. So I felt compelled to review and say thanks.

Wish there was less cigarette litter caused by customers here but alas. Pretty sure 50% of cigarette litter in this town originates here. Perhaps consider putting a cigarette receptacle outside.

But the cigarette issue is vastly eclipsed by how well they shoveled the snow. Thanks for being good neighbors.“

“Poindexter is located inside of a hotel, but goes far beyond what a restaurant inside a hotel would be like! Most hotel restaurants are steakhouses, but this one is more suited for lunch!

This place had so much to see! The amount of cookie jar collections was truly unbelievable! The person who was taking our order was extremely kind and was patient while it took us a while to order something. There’s a lot on the menu to eat! I didn’t see much to drink, but there’s a small refrigerator on the side of the check-out to just grab something and go!

We ordered a chili soup and chicken quesadillas. We made a mistake and regretted it because we ate the food an hour later and took it to go. So, it turned out freezing cold! Surprisingly it wasn’t bad cold, I do wish I could try again when it was warm!

I loved how the inside made me feel as if I was in a student library but just filled with cookie jars instead. Absolutely incredible little lunch spot inside a hotel!“

“We had an amazing experience tonight at the Bloomington Chili’s . Even though they were swamped and very short staffed, every single person that was working tonight handled it with grace and a smile. Our amazing, sweet server Morgan was the best. She was serving one half of the restaurant alone with her food runners and they were like a well oiled machine. Morgan had a difficult table whom we watched her deal with, with a smile. So hats off to hard workers who show up and who are happy to work hard. WAY to go Morgan! I hope she made a lot of large tips for her efforts! Give that girl a raise!“

“Went for Lunch by recommendation of several friends and the Chef himself. Went in with open mind and was blown away by the atmosphere. I sat at the bar and ordered. Bartender was great and knowledgeable about the items and listed the great options. I ordered a drink and talked about trying something new substitute as an ingredient wasn't available. He made a fantastic drink I'd order again. Bob Ross painting special on the TV was top notch aswell.“

Parking: Generally you will have to walk here. Parking garage and street parking near by, but most of the time requires short walk. Still worth it.“
