I love this place! Only been there a few times... Bully and Margaret Glaspy. Both were excellent from the staff, the taps, to the sound. I'll be back! All the way from Cincinnati!
Lovely music venue! The staff and crowd that hangs out at the Bishop are some of my favorites in Bloomington. Can’t speak for the bar itself yet, but I highly recommend checking out one of their shows!

The Bishop Bar is a cozy and cool venue located in the college town of Bloomington. It offers a fun and lively atmosphere, perfect for catching a concert, enjoying a few beers, or meeting up with friends. The bar has a small but nice setup, with a railed-off outdoor smoking section. While it may get crowded with hipsters at times, the bar provides a great space for reasonably priced and carefully-crafted drinks, as well as seasonal and specialty cocktails. The stage is raised and well-suited for audience engagement, making it an awesome venue for performers, such as those featured in the Bloomington Poetry Slam.
