Excellent bbq. Take out only. If the tent is out, it is outside. No tent means inside. Fast and friendly service.

Food's great! Truly! Excellent pulled pork! And they're friendly. But they're seldom open, and they ignore their online hours. I called today at 5:15 pm, since they claim online that they're open until 6:30 pm today. They closed at 5:00 pm. I've not found them open the last 8 or 10 times I've stopped there. I've wasted a lot of time from their refusal to update their webpage and take their customers seriously! If I could just catch them open once in a while, I'd give them 5 stars!

Not sure where these great reviews are coming from. Thanks a lot! I made a special trip to this place based on such and not worth it. $16 which I find to be a little on the high side. The brisket was fair at best. It was shaved, not what I was expecting, and no flavor and a lot of fat. When I go for BBQ I also look forward to the sides which are typically very good. The green beans tasted like they were out of a can and the mac & cheese, one of my favorites, was luke warm and not special at all. Disappointment as these are my 2 favorites. Guy was nice so I hate to write a bad review but people need to know. Oh and don't try to find the menu on the web. Takes you to some strange site that probably gives you a virus.

Love this place! Use to go to BBQ Train when we lived in Bloomington from 13-15. Food is still great, service was fast and the prices are more than fair. Highly recommend this place, you need to try it once and you'll be hooked!
Vegetarian options: HA!
Parking: Parking is a little tight. Be prepared to wait a little during the lunch rush.
Wheelchair accessibility: BBQ Train is outside at times (in the parking lot) during the year so wheelchairs can roll right up. When indoors, you can wheel up through the door.

Awesome
Sept 2023 update: it was good a few weeks ago, now it just tastes like baked meat again. If you don't burn the burnt ends, it is gamy and nasty. I don't know why these guys insist on ruining barbecue so diligently. Jerk chicken is ok though. No longer any good. Changed hands again and these folks don't do barbecue. Meat seems only oven cooked, no wood was used for cooking.

Pulled pork sandwich was excellent, lot of meat, with spicy and sweet sauce..
Parking: Gas station lot.
Nope. 1pm Tues. I had the pulled pork sandwich combo. The pork was dry and only a little warm. The bun was out of the refrigerator cold. The sauce from a bottle was cold. Very disappointed looking a the reviews I expected better. I won't go back.
Parking: Plenty of parking.
My experience was a little better then most that review here, came here about 1pm and got the pulled chicken dinner, very fresh and could get two sandwiches out of one. House made potato salad and beans.
