Went here after my SILs graduation. There are no vegan options and even the vegetarian options seem difficult to make vegan due to the ingredients in them (breadsticks have egg). Ended up getting a house salad with no cheese, croutons, and their vinaigrette. It was filling enough, but I’m not a person who goes to restaurants to get salads. Also, we were sat before the rush and didn’t get service for 20 minutes. Food took a while (which is understandable) but then my son’s food came out cold.

The fish and tater sauce were really good and beer was great. Hamburger was just ok, wouldn’t order again but the fries were tasty.

You can never go wrong with Big Woods in Bloomington. Consistently good food. Good service. Great atmosphere. Very lively on Friday and Saturday nights. We have tried about everything on the menu. Great variety.

Very rude waiter. No customer service skills whatsoever. And the place was basically empty, so it's not like he was overwhelmed.

So this place is awesome.
One block off IU campus.
Friendly staff. Craft QuaffOn beers.
Best fish tacos I’ve found in Bloomington. Had the Wedge salad and truffle fries too. Both delish.
I’ll be back.

Really just a Meh experience. Took almost 40 minutes to get our food on a day when there were not many other customers there.

Terrific dinner with my IU freshman. Great way to start the new year. Friendly staff and delicious chicken sandwiches. IPA was tasty too.

Dietary restrictions: Very conscientious about allergy needs.

Service was slow and unfriendly. My husband sat without a drink for 30 minutes, and then after an hour of waiting, was served a raw pizza. The seating here is also terrible and crowded. You can’t hardly walk to the restrooms due to the tables being crammed so close together. I usually love Big Woods in Nashville. So this was very disappointing.

Great burgers andicro-brews, but many other good things too. Flavors are powerful and imaginative. Both indoor and outdoor seating. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Ordered the "Signature" pulled pork sandwich ($15.99). Figuring this is on their menu more than once and labeled with "Signature"; it cannot be too bad. It came with the sauce on the side rather than mix with the pork. I was not giving any utensils other than napkins so I can not easily mix the sauce with pork. As a result there is no consistent flavor throughout and a bit disappointing. BBQ sauce is way too sweet. The fires, buns, pickle are all good though.. if just the kitchen staff can control the food quantity and flavor before the dish got send out to customers. I don't mind extra sauce provided for consideration if the pulled pork already fully seasoned, but not totally unflavored.
