I got to check out the Blockhouse Bar recently at a Time Well Spent and Moonscreen show. It was a lovely basement venue with a standard selection of beers; but besides the incredible bands, the sound engineer was the star of the show, mixing them perfectly for the context of this room. A great experience!

Nice intimate beer bar. Like your family's finished basement. Sound man is very good so it is pleasant to hear good music.
This place has gotten gross, mediocre beer selection, sad to see the owner get bloated and coked out and being mean to people.
Great atmosphere. Honky-tonk on Tuesday nights is a lot of fun. Nice selection of beer.
