This is an amazing place to get bagels 👏. The staff was super friendly, the bagels were delicious and extremely customizable. It was my 1st time going, and I'd definitely come back. Shout out to the staff members who offered to remake my friends bagel when it fell on the floor before she got to take a bite 🤣😂.

Overhyped bagels. Vegan cream cheese not very good (an elusive thing).

I love the food here & love that it’s locally owned! But please.. please update your open hours sign on the door to reflect the actual hours of operation. The sign says you close at 2PM, but Google states 1PM.

This place gets worse and worse every time. Never open on time and if you do catch someone in the morning don't expect even good service.

I really wish this location were as good as the east because this one is closer. Every time I go to this location my order is wrong no matter how many times I repeat myself the employees make my bagel how they want. Today I asked for toasted, didn’t get toasted. I pointed it out as she started spreading cream cheese on and she didn’t care so I just asked to have it put through the warmer. Literally 3 times I asked for cucumbers, has no cucumbers. I really don’t understand.

I have been to bloomington a total of 3 times and every single time has been awful. If i could leave negative stars I would.

This time I came in with a medium group, 6, only 5 of us got bagels. My partner and I ordered together so we assumed ours would take a few minutes more but not 36 minutes. As we watched our friends eat, we spoke to an employee who said our bagels when in the cue. 4 of the people from our group had to leave to go back to south bend and chicago area. when we got the bagels after 36 minutes I asked to speak to a manager, but they had gone home 30 minutes before that. After taking a bite of the bagels, BOTH of them were cold. The hashbrowns in ALL of the bagels were still frozen, IF you had got the hashbrown that your ordered at all.

There was a hair on the cream cheeses and they just threw the hair away once I told them and didn’t remove the cream cheese it was touching. It also took an hour to get through the line and then another 45 min to get two bagels with three people making bagels. Honestly just so disappointing and the bagels are over priced and not good. Just go to Gables it’s so much better.

Been coming here at least once a month for the past year, and it's been faithful and true. Much like the name, the breakfast offerings are direct and familiar, and the staff are the busiest of bees. Service isn't slow, but they're usually slammed at peak breakfast/morning hours, so plan accordingly.

More variance in bagel size and cream cheese allotment than I would prefer (I've gotten everything from Godzilla sized bagels overflowing with spread, to what felt like something from a kids menu) but it's always truly scrumptious. Highly recommend anything here with cheese and/or jalapeños in it.

even though the bagels are always very yummy, the staff somehow manages to mess up the bagel everytime, missing a recipe and not noticing until mentioned (and this is on empty days too) making the time to wait much longer. Love the food, but the staff could be more attentive.

Visited this location with my family and was disappointed. GF bagels are advertised on their website but not offered at this location, so we paid full price for a sandwich with no bagel. My daughter ordered an iced coffee that took 25 minutes to make. My son and I had to wait 10 minutes for our sandwiches to be made because the workers wanted to pay more attention to the girls who came in after us. Two of us were asked what veggies we wanted on our sandwiches while the other two were not. I do not plan on coming back, I was very disappointed.

I’ve been going to bbc for over a decade and have watched it go drastically downhill. The employees at this location couldn’t seem to care less about providing prompt service and were generally unfriendly. One worker continued her prep work as a line ran up to the door, without offering to help the other (extremely slow) employee. I’m done

Go to gables bagels. Better bagels and the service is actually fast and friendly

Draylie was so helpful my first time visiting this place and it was a great experience without her making a suggestion I probably would have passed only bad thing I couldn't leave her a tip with my card please fix this for the sake of your employees ? thanks
