I've been going to Bluetip for nearly 6 years! Whether you're a seasoned player, amateur looking to improve their game, to family and friends trying to enjoy a night out, you are welcome here! Hungry? They have Pizza, Wings, Sandwiches and the standard selection of fried-foods availabe at a decent price as well as your general selection of beverages you're used to. They have all of your beer needs with the full pallet of domestic and several craft choices available on tap. Finding an open table can be an issue at times due to a large community of APA and BCA/VNEA league players. With leagues playing nearly every day, it happens occasionally where the 12+ tables are full and having to wait for an opening. Feel free to call ahead or check the website for availability, or come ask about joining a league! You might just find yourself on a free trip to Vegas!! On busier nights, parking can be an issue as well. Hot summer days can create a warm atmosphere in Bluetip that some find undesirable (never stops me anyway). The only other issues for some is that since it is non-smoking, you might have to walk by someone smoking a cigarette if you have asthma or issues making smoke a concern. It's the only pool hall in bloomington with beloved Diamond tables $1.50 per game or $10.

This is a great local pool place! Well spaced tables in a laid-back atmosphere. They also have really good food, considering their main focus is playing billards.
I highly recommend Bluetips if you're looking for a place to time playing pool with friends and family.

Great chill place to play pool... They have several 7 ft tables and 2 9 ft tables. Hourly rental for the 7s is $4 per person, $6 per person for the 9s. They were in great condition, rails were solid, balls weren't beat up, and the sticks were straight! Glad we tried it out.... We didn't have the food but they have a decent menu with several options as well as bar options. Going back again!

Great place for pool. It has moments where it gets full but nothing like what you would see at other bars. I love the new pool table widget on the website so I can decide if I can get a table at that time. The drinks and food are very reasonably priced. Service is speedy. We love the owner. He has made awesome changes and is always so friendly. Great place!

Everyone who works here is so kind and personal with you. It's never overly crowded. The food is actually really good. I don't even like pizza, never have. But their pepperoni pizza... I ate six slices lol
