I do not recommend Cloverleaf Family Restaurant in Bloomington, Indiana. I should have stopped myself before even entering the restaurant. We parked on the side of the strip mall and there was trash (broken glass, cigarette butts, alcohol containers, miscellaneous stuff) everywhere. The sidewalk walking up to the door was scummy. If I owned a restaurant in a strip mall, regardless of what the mall owners did, I would daily pick up the trash and clean the exterior to ensure my customers had a great experience. We were not greeted, but made our way to a coffee bar area and once acknowledged we were seated. The menus had fallen off the table and we had to fish them out from underneath the table from the floor. I got pancakes and my spouse got a skillet. We both ordered coffee. We did not receive water at our table. The coffee was just ok. The pancakes were flavorless and the syrup was clearly not pure syrup but some kind of artificial pancake syrup and I got a very small plastic cup of it - not nearly enough for my order of pancakes. My spouse’s skillet was not served in a skillet, and there was an only a paltry amount of food on the plate. The eggs were supposed to be over-easy and they were over-hard and tasted rubbery. The rest of the skillet ingredients were not cooked well or seasoned properly. The toast was extremely small. The overall quality of the food was very poor. The men’s bathroom was so nasty that it could not be used. The women’s bathroom was dirty and they use this pink, toxic smelling rubbery air “freshener” that hung off of the toilet in a couple of places…… There is a lower price if you use cash so we did - it was around $30. We left Cloverleaf Family Restaurant unhappy, unsatisfied, and dirtier than when we arrived. My recommendation is to avoid this place and save your time and money.
You know I love this place and actually would go in and sit to eat, but the past 4 times I have ordered for delivery and today is the snapping point for me. I always order pancakes or French toast and every time they forget something. One time didn’t even send me syrup ffs. But I ordered strawberries every time for my item and they either forgot my syrup or the strawberry or all of it and it’s one of my main things I want from there. Pretty disappointed and ridiculous as I always write STRAWBERRIES AND SYRUP! . Apparently they can’t get it correct so I’m done and will be giving my business to Bob Evans 🤝 🇺🇸 🫡. Ohh and also I ordered food today and didn’t get my order until 2 1/2 hours later and I ordered at 6 am and got my food at like 8 . 👎👎👎👎. I definitely miss the people that worked there before I guess it was sold or something. The waitresses there now suck and can’t compare to the other ones they used to have. BOB EVANS HERE I COME!! I’ll pay more for good service and correct order 🤝🤝👍🙌. Who’s with me?? 😺

Please try us again. I am one of the original owners and I have been back 3 weeks and we are back to original recipes. Great servers. I don't recommend Sundays. I would like to close that day but the owner who bought from us will not do that. Everyone comes in at the same time. You can't possibly wait on everyone at the same time. Kitchen gets bombarded and food takes a while only on Sunday. Thinking we might start seating people on Sunday to organize the chaos. I'm working on the little things to make it better. Please come back and try us again
I just stood in front of a table for 20 minutes waiting to be cleaned. As I watched tables being cleaned before mine. This is second bad experience here. Wouldn't come back. I hope the one they put in bedford is better. Not Happy

This past Sunday, a group of 19 from various parts of IN and MI, gathered to celebrate a family members 60th birthday. Cloverleaf was amazing in many ways as we took over the back of the restaurant. A team served everyone’s fresh food at the same time. Customer service was so awesome and the food was yummy also.
I came in from out of state to help my brother move , our waitress was the short Mexican GREAT WAITRESS but the waitress at the other register behind the counter was the most rudest waitress I've ever seen , said she couldn't take my money to pay as we waited 30 minutes to get our ticket she said im not your waitress and dont know what to tell you. JUST WOW SHE NEEDS FIRED , I was there 6-30-25 in the morning she was skim longish blondish hair pulled back in ponytail
The atmosphere is what you expect and want out of a breakfast joint. I've been going here for many years and occasionally I've been overjoyed with the service, usually it's just fine... today unfortunately I was really disappointed.
Our server spoke so quietly I couldn't understand him and as someone with anxiety that can be a little difficult to deal with. We got our food which appeared to be mostly right but then it was impossible to catch his attention to get things we needed and he only reappeared to drop off the check.
I will say he was polite, and when we accidentally left our card behind he ran it out to us.
My hashbrowns were pretty undercooked, and I had cheese added to my omelet but there was just a tiny dab on one end. Not huge deals.
But all of it together just left us feeling a bit disappointed in our visit especially after so very many visits that made us love it there.

Use to love this restaurant, waited over an hour for under cooked food, omelet had egg running out of it and could not even eat my meal and didn't want to send back and wait an additional hour.
This place is old & dirty

It's no wonder this restaurant was one of Bloomington's Best of B-Town. Great little dinner with good food and cozy atmosphere.

i used to love this place and the other one is still amazing but it took 20 minutes before i had to walk up to a waiter and see how my party of 5 could order some food. only saw my waitress once, the others were walking around on phones or eating at the bar and sitting around. almost left before our food came out almost 45 minutes later and they forgot one persons order. our drinks were never refilled after being brought to us in the first place. honestly it’s the first time i’ve ever eaten at a place like this and didn’t tip, hell with the amount of attention paid to the guests we couldve just left and i truly believe no one would have noticed or cared.

Food was mediocre at best service from the waitress was extremely poor. Only came to my table twice and only had two tables at the time, croissant that I had was stale lettuce, looked old, Don’t eat here often but after today, I would not recommend this restaurant for incoming families to the town of Bloomington.
My favorite Bloomington restaurant. Prices are unbeatable compared to the other breakfast chains or gentrified brunch places. I wish more people knew about this place.
