It somehow got even worse with their new menu.
The most greasy Chinese food I've had in my life. Nasty.
I wonder who this menu is appealing to.

The best thing about this place is the prices. Although more expensive than pre-pandemic there are still bargains and some reasonably tasty food. House special soup is worth trying. Spicy shredded pork a personal fave, along with the spare rib appetizer, steamed dumpling appetizer and Kung Pao shrimp. Portions are enormous so avoid the large portions unless sharing. Also, no need to get the lunch and dinner specials which come with extras and cost more as all are available with white rice in large and small versions. If you feel adventurous, try some of the Chinese specials but be prepared for very spicy sauces, some very untypical ingredients and a noticeable price hike! Boneless duck with vegetables is safe and big enough for two, or you could save some for later!

New owners- sadly food is not good anymore. My favorite dish home style tofu tasted awful. It was just undercooked broccoli ( no variety of vegetables like before) the Tofu was limp not freshly deep fried, sauce bland, no spice ( I asked for five star heat). I threw it away it tasted like cleaning detergent. Awful and sad… was best Chinese in town.

The service was ultra quick. The prices are OK. The food is not the best though. The taste is reasonable, but the oil/grease that they ise stink so baad.

The best in town for sure. Every time I get take out it's hot and delicious. Never go anywhere else for Chinese, nice staff as well.

The Chow and chicken Lo Mein had no flavor, I did like the egg and spring rolls. That’s why I give the food a 1 star because the rolls were good, main meal was a 0 for me.

Dont go here. Food is BAD (chicken is just dry fried bread), their 'authentic' dishes are horrible (not even chinese food) cash only in 2024, trying to order online doubles the price (for no reason?) and charges a 'convenience fee' only for them to argue you didn't pay online (they don't accept cards in person, so what did you expect?). Atmosphere looks like the definition of food poisoning. Service acts like you robbed them by paying full price in cash. "Convenience fee"... again, in 2024, for a restaurant that only takes cash...um, drug front? they don't even have a menu that accurately displays their cash prices. This business relies on mindless, rich freshman. Don't be one of them. Be mindful and go to best taste, chow bar, siam, my thai, literally anywhere else... maybe this will turn into an "okay" restaurant one day. Maybe... probably not, even with a change of heart (needs a change in management).

The sauces were too sweet and too sticky. This is American Chinese food and not Chinese Chinese food. There are other Chinese restaurants in Bloomington which I prefer.

This is one of my favourite Chinese food restaurants in Indiana. The food always tastes good. Their service is so amazing, they went extra mile for us to cook everything separately as we dont eat pork. I have been here several times and going to come over and over again.

It has not been the same since Mike and Amy left. The food has lost its quality. The generals chicken reminds me of the stuff you get from kroger from P.F. Changs. Chicken nuggets with some sauce that isn't really generals sauce. The lo mein tasted like it had BBQ sauce. The dumplings are okay, but they still have this taste to them I can't put my finger on. The Crab Rangoons taste like they have sour cream in them. The beef was way too tough in the beef and broccoli. Prices have risen too. I am sad to say this, but I doubt I'll return.
