This is by far the best and most accesible BBQ that the beautiful state of Indiana has to offer. It only took 1 hour and 40 minutes to get this delectable smoked and pulled pork into my hands. The woman who worked the counter was so friendly and encouraging especially to foreign children wondering why their order was taking 1 hour and 10 minutes. Not to mention that when eating this fine food there was not more than an ounce of meat on my bun. Talk about exclusive! I heard the reason why it took so long for so little meat was because you have to wait another hour to get the full amount of meat. They even pushed me out of my comfort zone by giving me potato salad when I ordered coleslaw. The man working the kitchen was going to far lengths to create this masterpiece. Every fry was hand fried, seasoned and perfected one at a time. The water was hand tapped from the glaciers of Fiji, and they had to commute there on foot. Each pig and chicken was individually slaughtered in that van. I mean what's the other reason for the wait. Going to be bringing this business model to my Kelley class tomorrow. May need to get a patent.

Anyone that's looking for amazing barbecue, needs to go to Eli mays. Just the right spice and the pulled pork just fell apart. I know there's another place. That says finger licking good. But this has me wanting to go back for 4ths. I'm about to order again so I can have it for breakfast with my eggs!!!

brisket was chewy and kind of disappointing being totally drenched in sauce like it was general tsos or something. cole slaw tasted like pure yogurt with no vinegar and looked kinda bruised/bad or something. Maybe it was an off day, but I’d hoped it would be better.

Ellie May’s barbecue was at the campground I was staying at this weekend and it was the worst service I have ever had in my life. everybody that was at the campground getting food had to wait at least an hour for their food. I had to wait an hour and 40 minutes to get tacos and a chicken sandwich when my food was ready they did not have my daughters chicken sandwich and said oh, we ran out of chicken, they were very very disorganized and I got the feeling they had no idea what they were doing If they ever come back to the campground, I will never eat there again.

Was excited to try this at food truck Friday tonight, but they ran out of pork when I was next up to order, and it was only 7:20.

I'm not normally a huge fan of bbq from restaurants since it's usually made with syrupy grossly sweet bbq sauce. But this.... this has got to be some of the best (if not the best) bbq I've had. And the slaw slew, it was great. I got the slaw sliders as well, and well... they were great. Plus they are open late, would highly recommend trying this place out.
Astonishing barbecue. Probably the best smoked brisket I’ve ever had from a restaurant. Pulled Pork is right up there as well. The cole slaw had a very refreshing taste that was balanced all around. And the french fries are seasoned expertly with great spices. 10/10 Would recommend anyone that likes a good barbecue.

Smokiness and spiciness of the meat and bbq sauce itself were phenomenal. Good to have BBQ in town that focuses a lot less on a sweet sauce. Brisket was a tiny bit chewy for me, but I know some prefer it that way. The sides were fantastic. Baked beans and coleslaw just like grandma made (tasting the rice wine vinegar in a Sweet Cole Slaw took me back in time)It's also cool to see more folks trying out the concept of a commissary kitchen, and I think that's worth supporting. I'm happy to give this a try over a chain any day. This food is church, piping hot when it got here, good to the last bite. Get some.
