Love taking my family to Fat Dans before IU events. Appreciate the welcoming attitude towards kids. Our boys specifically love playing pop-a-shot, when the place isn't too crowded. The hoop, however, has seen better days. A fresh, functioning hoop with new basketballs would make the place even better.
Fat Dans is a nice spot in Bloomington if you’re looking for brews and sandwiches. Their food is always good and comes in large portions. I’ve had both the chicken wings and the grilled chicken sandwich from here. The wings are some of the best in Bloomington! The grilled chicken sandwich was excellent as well, I loved the seasoning they put on the chicken to help it stand up to some of their more creative sandwich options. Stopped in for a quick lunch on Sunday oct 5th. This was our first time eating at Fat Dan's. We had the Kids burger for our 4 years old (it was huge and he loved it), fries, a Cuban, and an Italian beef. Everything was delicious. We will be sure to come back and try more items. Service was very friendly and very prompt.
