Food Quality and menu options have really deteriorated. It used to be so much better with better options. Save your money.
We have been a couple times before when in town visiting our daughter at IU and were very surprised with our dinner there last week. It's definitely not the same experience. The staff was inattentive and surprisingly uneducated (for a wine cellar) about wine and the food was disappointing (the baked brie was liquidš). Sadly we will not recommend Feast again and will not go back.
We have eaten here a few times before when in town for our daughter's ballet performances at IU and had lovely experiences. We think maybe the restaurant has changed owners. The service was awful and the portions were smaller and the food was ok.
Long wait for food. Wine was warm. Slow service. Apps took 30 minutes and came out cool. Entree was fine. Not a great experience.
One of our favorite spots. Quaint, cozy, great service, wide choice of wine and delicious food.
Limited menu. Food was decent. Our server was very sweet but was the only one working so service was slow.
The food was great. We had the bread and butter board, cucumbers, and the tandoori chicken and shrimp pasta for entrees. The cucumbers were ok⦠I would have liked them as tiny slices better probably but honestly Iām not a huge fan of cucumbers. The pasta was excellent and the chicken was just ok⦠We sat outside and there was zero light. We couldnāt even see the food. Overall, it was just ok. Could have been great but not good enough for us to return.

Our server was outstanding! Everything is wonderful at Feast with the exemption of the prices of a glass of wine & most entrees. It's an unfortunate consequence of dining here.
One of the best restaurants in Bloomington. I ordered the steak tacos which were so flavorful and cooked to perfection. My friend got the shrimp pasta which they said was very good. We shared the lemon buttercream cake and some margaritas, which were well made and very tasty. The inside is very intimate. It's a great place for a date. Our server was Elizabeth, who is top-notch. We will return! I wish I had taken more photos.
I went to Feast for my Mothers and my birthday. I went here expecting it to be the best restaurant in Bloomington from many people on reddit really enjoying it, and since the food is pretty expensive.
However, during my experience there, we ordered the Sea Bass, Shrimp Pasta, and Tandoori Chicken. The flavors of the Tandoori Chicken weren't that good and was a little tough. The Sea Bass wasn't flavorful as well, and the skin was very hard and crisp.
The biggest issue was the Shrimp Pasta which had good flavor, but the pasta was raw. I let the server know and they told me that pastas was homemade and that's how it was supposed to be. Not feeling confrontational on my birthday I let it go. My mom however did not let it go and was persistent that it was raw. They took it back and came back with it remade, and stated that they all tried it and agreed that it was raw.
I'm just having trouble understanding how a supposedly high-end restaurant (4.6 rated as well) can produce 3 bad dishes?
I forgot to mention that their bread & butter board was also slightly stale.

Feast Sunday Brunch is a āmust doā every time we visits IU. The food is delicious, the menu changes to reflect the season's best selection. The baked goods and freshly made spreads are wonderful for sharing. The price is worth it -
My wife and I had our third anniversary at Feast and they did not disappoint. They acknowledged the reservation notes made online and I believe the other (a hard sell) has discovered her new favorite steak tacos. The sea bass was fantastic and I enjoyed their margarita cocktail.

I have always had good experiences with the staff even if I have to update a reservation. The bread and butter boards are always a delight, the wine selection is phenomenal, and the deserts are some of the best in town. Feast of one of our favorite date night restaurants. Would highly recommend.
Excellent environment and friendly servers. A bit over priced, but had a good time with colleagues.

Feast is one of my favorite restaurants in Bloomington because their food and service has always been reliably good. It still is for everything except for their special order cakes!!
I'm done ordering birthday cakes from them after the past two years terrible experience ... last year ordered three cakes ( over $200 total) one of which was badly baked and collapsed in the center once we cut into it. This year I ordered a dozen cupcakes and a carrot cake ... $48 and $70 respectively. Cupcakes uninspired to look at, uneven sizes with white cake that tasted like a box cake. The "large" carrot cake cake was disappointingly small and ugly! The small amount of decoration was brown with white icing ... with very amaturish looking writing ... a very poor presentation that was for a very special occasion. I thought last year it might have been a fluke and was willing to try them again. In MHO, the collapsed cake from last year & both of this years should never have left their kitchen ... total fail.
