I visited Feast for the second time for lunch on Sunday. (The first time I visited was for brunch last year.) Food was mediocre at best. The restaurant was unable to made a Chai or a bakery board. My daughter had a peanut butter latte, which appeared to be a scoop of peanut butter at the bottom of an iced latte. For some reason the place had their front door open, enabling us to enjoy the ambience of the recently- resealed parking lot. Luckily the experience was also expensive!
I really enjoy this restaurant, and in my opinion, it's the finest in Bloomington. The food last night was incredible, and the dessert made me feel that this was the perfect choice. I would definitely suggest this restaurant, and I guarantee you won't be let down. Thank you, Feast Market & Cellar, for treating my family and me really well.
The food was good but had two issues (1) limited menu choices. They offered a multi-course meal selection with an option for a steak, shrimp pasta or veggie ravioli, but no other choices. Each item was available as an ala carte, but overall selection felt limited. (2) No wine. They are having an issue with renewing their license and could not offer wine with dinner. Had I known that before we got there, I would have chosen another restaurant. All in all, good food but the limited menu and no wine made a difference for me.
WOW! What a change in the food with new ownership and new chef! We won't be back. Very sad it used to be a good restaurant.
This restaurant used to be a favorite. The chef and baker that made it special are gone I'm told. Ugh. They had one person to wait tables and the quality of the food was dismal.
If you were there prior to December 2024 you will be terribly disappointed if you visit now. If you haven't dined there DON'T!! We quickly knew something was different. The wine selection was not up to par-served us an warm white wine. Warm water and a salmon appetizer that was so tuff we couldn't chew it. I googled the restaurant: Chef, Su chef and most of the staff walked out late 2024 which explained the decline. VERY DISSAPPOINTING!!
Food Quality and menu options have really deteriorated. It used to be so much better with better options. Save your money.
We have been a couple times before when in town visiting our daughter at IU and were very surprised with our dinner there last week. It's definitely not the same experience. The staff was inattentive and surprisingly uneducated (for a wine cellar) about wine and the food was disappointing (the baked brie was liquid😕). Sadly we will not recommend Feast again and will not go back.
We have eaten here a few times before when in town for our daughter's ballet performances at IU and had lovely experiences. We think maybe the restaurant has changed owners. The service was awful and the portions were smaller and the food was ok.

Long wait for food. Wine was warm. Slow service. Apps took 30 minutes and came out cool. Entree was fine. Not a great experience.
One of our favorite spots. Quaint, cozy, great service, wide choice of wine and delicious food.
Limited menu. Food was decent. Our server was very sweet but was the only one working so service was slow.
The food was great. We had the bread and butter board, cucumbers, and the tandoori chicken and shrimp pasta for entrees. The cucumbers were ok… I would have liked them as tiny slices better probably but honestly I’m not a huge fan of cucumbers. The pasta was excellent and the chicken was just ok… We sat outside and there was zero light. We couldn’t even see the food. Overall, it was just ok. Could have been great but not good enough for us to return.

Our server was outstanding! Everything is wonderful at Feast with the exemption of the prices of a glass of wine & most entrees. It's an unfortunate consequence of dining here.
