A little disappointed - ordered from here before for a student group I run and had a good experience, but I called to place an order for a baker’s dozen for our event (we can’t use the website because of IU card tax exemption) and got hung up on :(

10/10, i got a bacon egg and cheese on a plain bagel with the chive cream cheese which i loved! Will definitely be back, super friendly and quick service, was in & out. Coffee was also bomb and employees were very polite.

Being from New Jersey, this place is a welcome reminder of home. That pork roll should be on a griddle tho. If you're a townie plan to go on a less busy day, it's usually swamped with students

Normally I get bad social anxiety about ordering at crowded places, but the first time (not the last, now!) that I walked in here, I felt like the staff and I were New Yorkers that went decades back and had kids at home and soon we’d be old Italian dudes that gathered to watch construction projects with our arms

Fun place, especially if the owner is there. Very cute. Not a lot of room to sit, so don't plan for a leisurely brunch. The bagels are loads better than a grocery store. Just don't ask for one toasted. They don't 'do' toasted. What you get when you ask for a buttered bagel is kind of gooey. The eggs are not cooked to order, either. The chicken salad's not bad, but missing the dill of the east coast version. The egg salad is lacking the sugar of Midwestern versions, thankfully, but tastes more like 1950 than it does 2024. I had coffee which turned out to be lukewarm and very weak. I'm disappointed. I don't think I'll be back.

These are the best bagels in Bloomington. So many options to choose from (all of which are high quality), the staff is so friendly, and it's evident that the owner is passionate and truly cares about his business, his employees, and his customers. The lines may be long, but it's worth it every time!

We go to NYC once a year to get bagels, and Gables are as good or better. Always fresh and staff is super friendly.

They have the best gluten free bagels!! They offer three gf options: plain, everything, and blueberry! All super tasty and beyond any gf free bagel I’ve ever eaten. Plus their spreads are divine! Always a tasty treat and look forward to going back!Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free
