Before the lockdown, I was selected for a free unlimited sushi lunch ! Everything was so clean and we were served quality sushi :) Best sushi place in Btown!

They just recently opened up for dining inside, and only one waitress, which was very understandable. Still got everything in a timely manner and the sushi was very good. Enjoyed the experience!

I was In dire need of a good relaxing meal and my gf Mia suggested a Gaza MJC. She has a real knack for finding the best Sushi anywhere we go, and she struck gold at Gaza!We started with a small but delicious cold dish the Mango Cake. Lobster salad + mango mix. Sooo goodIt was flavorful and had nice cold texture perfect for a cooling of the palette We shared three rolls: A California, A Philadelphia and A Rainbow Roll. How appropriate for a "friend"'date Nestled in a non descriptive strip mall near the campus of IU Bloomington it's a gem

I got delivery bc I saw a good pic a took of the goods before covid. My order included a simple sushi mix and some basics. It was GOOD, FRESH, and DELICIOUS. I worry about first in this town but I'm so excited to order more!

I do love this place. A little pricey, but such a nice atmosphere. I have eaten here several times. Food is always good and service is great. Can't wait to eat here again!

Have been giving extremely small portions for the same price! Quality is subpar of a gas station. Don't recommend if you have a stomach bigger than a 5 year old

Scarily bad & over priced sushi. The tuna is chopped up like cat food. Tastes nasty.

At first, this was going to be a three star, but after thinking about it, the sushi was really good. You forget just how bad some supermarket sushi can be until you get the good stuff. The taste, freshness, and ingredients count. It's not a manufactured feel. This is is about takeout, during the lock down. We ordered a variety of rolls, plus the stuffed jalapeno poppers. Then we remembered. Yeah, decent sushi. Maybe better than decent as the quality of the ingredients was good and consistent. Presentation was good and it made it to its destination six miles away as though we were eating it inside their restaurant. I haven't eaten sushi/sashimi in a while. I'm going back when the times are better. It's not cheap here, but quality isn't cheap, either. Their menu isn't as extensive as some I've seen. But it's not sushi-on-the-hoof, sushi-buffet, etc. This is the handcrafted stuff well done. We'll be back.

I very rarely write reviews BUT: Ordered takeout for dinner for a sushi combo with extra ginger. I realize that with the virus and quarantine that restaurants are extremely busy and for them to stay open for takeout is extremely generous. However, the food I received today was unacceptable!! When I got home and opened my food, there was a RANCID smell coming from two of my three boxes, sort of a sulfur/wet rag smell from the ginger (it was also noticeably warm) and likewise from the rice/imitation crab side dish. I tasted the imitation crab and had to immediately spit it out, as it had gone so bad to the point where I couldn't even smell it without gagging on it. The rice underneath the crab had gone bad also and you could tell from how sour it smelled and from the mushy texture underneath. The entree itself was fine- not expecting fresh sushi in Bloomington anyway, but the smell from the other boxes was so bad I didn't even feel like eating. Please, please do not serve food that has gone bad!!

The sushi was great. And I was desperately wanting a coffee to go with my tiramisu. The waiter made a special pot of espresso for me....best espresso ever.

We recently had the worst experience here! It was our third time going. The first two times going my husband and I both enjoyed a couple sushi roles and they were above average. The service has always been slow despite the place being nearly empty most of the time. We made reservations on valentines and my husband received an email that a special valentines menu would be an option. When we got there, we found that menu was the ONLY option. I was disappointed because there was only one role of sushi on the menu, and the reason we chose Gaza was for the sushi. My husband ordered the prime rib and it was just awful. Chewy, cold, and zero flavor. The rest of the meal was average at best. We were polite and honest with the waitress when she asked about our meal and she kind of just shrugged it off. We chalked it up to the place being busy and us being d*** going out on Valentine's Day. Then we got the bill. We had ordered off of the "special" menu they set for Valentine's Day which included 8$ wine. They charged us 9$ a glass. When we brought this to the waitresses attention she brought back their normal menu that they didn't even provide us with and acted dumbfounded on where we saw the 8$ wine list. If they can't train their wait staff on what their specials are, that's a problem. Even when we showed her off of the "special menu" where it said 8$ wine she still didn't change it on our bill. We left 2$ poorer then we should've and completely dissatisfied with our meal. Thank you for reading my novel, don't waste your money here.

Heard some good things about this place and wanted to try. Went there on Feb 5 (Wed) for dinner. The food was Ok (not great, but acceptable), but the service was not! There were not many people in the restaurant, yet it was not easy to find/flag the server when we needed something.

The same dish wasn't white up to par with my recent experience in a distant city, but it was good, fresh, hot and nutritious. I'll be back for more. The employees up front where I ordered takeout were very, very nice.
