The food was delicious and perfectly spiced. The lunch specials are a very good deal. I'm a bit of a Thai food snob (picky and discerning), and this place was definitely up to par. I'll be coming here again. The basil chicken, drunken noodle, and pad Thai were all great.

Absolutely love Happy Thai! The food is amazing and the menu has lots of options. They are a bit in the pricier side, but the quality is worth the price. The staff are very nice and always make sure you have everything you need. The inside is smaller so not ideal for huge groups, but it’s a very cozy place and perfect for dining in or out. Highly recommend all of their dishes and their Thai tea is sooo good!

Happy Thai is Bloomington’s best kept secret. This restaurant has become our favorite Thai spot in town for not just the food, but the service and value. Every dish we’ve had here has been delicious. Our favorites include the Drunken Noodles, Thai Fried Rice, and red curry. The lunch deal (M-Sat) cannot be beat - $9.99 for an entree of your choice and vegetable soup! Everything tastes so fresh and made to order.

The staff treat you like family when you dine in. The service is very quick as well which makes it a perfect spot to grab a quick lunch.

The location is not the best, but don’t let that stop you. This is seriously some of the best food you can find in B-Town.

This was my favorite Thai restaurant in town when I lived in Bloomington. Everything is great, but especially the curries. I live in Chicago now, and I struggle to find a place that does Thai curry as well as Happy Thai. I’ll be back when I can!

One of my favorite restaurants. The food is excellent, the staff are attentive & friendly. Prices are competitive. No long wait for food.

Since the departure of Essan Thai several years ago this has been my choice for the best Thai food in town. Richly flavored noodles, curries, soups, you can't go wrong. The restaurant is small and a little cramped and the neighborhood sucks but go there anyway for the food! Or get it delivered. Go at lunch time for a bargain

First Thai dish I didn't eat. I ordered a pad Thai and the taste was not agreeable. The wife's food was okay and I snaked on that instead. The waiter offered several times to make something else, anything else to make sure we walked away happy. I didn't want to insult, but really didn't want to give another dish a shot at that point. Sorry, but this would be a skip in my opinion.

This is by far my favorite Thai Restaurant in town. The staff are friendly and the food is fantastic. The $10 lunch special can't be beat. I highly recommend the red curry.
