Has quickly become one of our favorite breweries!

We've enjoyed Heartwork as a fun date night but with the recent change of being family friendly, we are thrilled! We went for dinner tonight and had wonderful beer, pizza and service while playing the fun card games they have. We also played some of the arcade games- everyone had a blast!

Loved their IPAs and pizzas. Only place I found European style pizzas!

Excited to go back and try the pizza! I heard great things! The hazy was really good (comparable to Toppling Goliath King Sue) and the side pour pilsner was easily the best pilsner I've ever had. The mouth feel was incredible--something akin to a nitro mouth feel.

This was the fourth brewery I had been to this day, and it turned out to be the best! The space is super inviting. I got a flight which had four beers, all were spectacular. My favorite was either the strawberry shortcake Berliner Weisse or Bokonist Brew, a dark Mexican lager. We sat at the bar and had good conversations with Moose, he was the best! I would definitely come back here.

Great place for a casual evening out. Enjoyed the variety of drink choices. Pizza was delicious and worth a visit in its own right. I ordered the Margherita pizza and its simple ingredients and artisan crust impressed.

Y'all. This is THE PLACE. Excellent beers. The best stone-fired pizza. I'd recommend this place all day, every day, to anyone!

The hosts were great. This venue is dog friendly on the porch and even had a fog bowl outside. There are a few table games you can take to your seat during your visit. They have a shuffle board, and appear to have a DJ from time to time. There are also some arcade machines in the back. If you just want to have a spot to hang out, have a good ale, and share a small pizza to absorb a little bit, this is the place. They only have a select number of pizzas and ingredients though as their food menu.

This place is great! Trivia night is so fun! The pizza is good and the staff are so inviting. The ladies restroom is cute too! I'm looking forward to coming back for trivia on Wednesday nights!

Pretzel was excellent. Cheese was excellent. Beers were excellent. Sat outside with our dog, Noodles. She enjoyed the provided water bowl. Servers were great. Within walking distance to 2 hotels. Great place!

The pizza here is amazing, a real stand out in a town with plenty of great pizza places.

The best place to get a beer in Bloomington! The staff are kind and the beer is fantastic. Veteran owned business that truly cares about the community and supporting other local business. They recently added pretzels and pizzas to their menu so definitely check them out. The coffee stout is my new favorite!

Took Jeff Browne up on his offer of a free pizza to try at Heartwork Brewing! Here’s my review:
I admit, I’m a pizza snob. Speakeasy has been all I can seem to find to satisfy my craving, but it’s a drive. I’ve not had much luck for my likeness here in town. I don’t like regular “chain type”pizza. A nice, legit wood fire pizza oven is actually on my list someday.
At first I was skeptical because it wasn’t actually wood fired. He (jeff) claimed its just as good though. It was cooked at a high heat on stone.
Upon arriving I was greeted with a very friendly staff. The menu for pizza was extremely confusing to us. EXTREMELY !Different fancy words for like sea salt, mozzarella…confusing. Might be a beer joint, but definitely not rednecks. 😂 They jumped right in though, an explained all the lingo.
I wanted a coke, which they didnt have your typical sodas They do their own line though. I tried the cola, just wasn’t my preference. Kinda sweet for me. They do offer a zero sugar one though as an alternative. I switched to water, which is offered as self serve (which was nice) from a keg cooler. My biggest wish on drinks was that they offered ice. It’s a no ice facility.
Upon getting our pizzas, I was very pleased with the looks of the dough. Great char! When pulling a pice away an holding up, it had minimal flop. A lot of Neapolitan pizzas, wood fire pizzas, are undercooked in the center. This dough was perfect. Cant say enough on the dough. He delivered on his statement!
The sauce was extremely tasty. Very good sauce. Some sauces come across to strong. This one had a perfect balance.
My only complaints on the pizza. It wasn’t really that hot when served. Just a mild warm, which is better than cold. That could’ve been a 1 time oops though due to getting to the table quick enough. It had fresh mozzarella (which some prefer) in patches versus shredded covering whole pizza in a cheesy, goodness.
Topping are unfortunately limited (keep in mind they’re just starting the pizza side), so I tried prosciutto versus bacon. Prosciutto isn’t my thing on pizza I found out. They have red pepper flakes but no parm for table side.

Overall it was a good pizza, an will be my new go to for Bloomington. I feel they will just keep dialing in. They currently don’t have GF for the wife, but hope to in the future.
Give them a shot. That crust, yummm!
