Went to the family side 6 pm on a Saturday. Waited 10 minutes for someone to bring us a menu and take our drink order. None of the customers had any food and some were waiting on drink refills. Waited another 10-15 minutes without seeing the waitress and without our drinks. Left and will not be coming back again. It's sad because my husband used to work there as a bartender years ago and the food was really good.

2/22/24, 1 pm went to family dining room. 1:10 pm went to bar area to let them know we were there. 1:35 we left. No one ever acknowledged that we were there. Some birthday celebration ?

I was disappointed. We had reserved a table for five, but when we got there every table in the place was full, and we ended up being stuck in a booth with five people! We later had to move to a different table when other people cleared out. There was only one waitress, and she was nice but very overworked that night. The food was good although it could have been a little warmer. I do have to say, though, their homemade ranch dressing was absolutely delicious. The band that night was phenomenal as they always are, named Soul Stricken.

There are 2 sides to the place. A bar side where kids are not allowed and a room for those with kids. It took the waitress a few minutes to realize we were waiting. The food was good and but was hard for the waitress to be in two spots at once.

It took 45 minutes after we ordered to get 2 sandwiches. Waitress told us 20 minutes after ordering it wouldn’t be long.After the food finally arrived, the Waitress didn’t as much as check to see if everything was right or how it was. Finally saw her again when the check was delivered.Horrible experience all around.

This place is excellent. Food, environment, and staff are excellent. Connor, Keyla, Amanda and the whole staff are so great! I've heard legendary stories of the pork tenderloin here and never tried it until a few weeks ago. It's as advertised. Giant, tender, and delicious. A full two meal for this ol lump of coal.

First time coming here to check it out. Looked great online, but they were apparently having a kids party today instead of having playoffs customers. At least post something online or at the very least on the damn door so people know and don’t waste their time! Disappointed. Looked like a cool place
I've been hunting down the best Hoosier Breaded Pork Tenderloin Sandwich in Indiana. This one did NOT disappoint.By far the most TENDER one I've tried.Seasoning was great,... salt and pepper, only, (I'm guessing). Perhaps a hint of garlic powder.It wasn't near as thin as Edinburgh (which is supposedly the best in the state).... but I didn't like theirs... tasted more like a fritter that you get out of the frozen dept. So thin you could see light through it.I highly recommend Hoosier Bar & Grill.I also give a shout-out for KEYLA, the bartender that waited on me. I probably have her name totally wrong. But she was super friendly. A great server!

Tonight my husband and I decided to try Hoosier Bar and Grill again. We will not be going back. We walked in, picked a table and sat down. Two couples walked in behind us, one sat behind us and the other in front of us in the same row. (1st row of tables going across from bar to side wall). A waitress walked out, she went to the table behind us. Another waitress walked out and went to the table in front of us, the guest looked back at us and said time. She continued to assist them, brought out their drinks and came over to us. I told her that those two tables after us. She said, “It’s ok, we got you.” I said “ no, it’s not ok, we were here first. That is part of the problem people think everything is always OK. “ We gave our orders. I had ribeye and husband had patty melt. While waiting she refilled my husbands drink. When our food arrived mine was cold.Mine was cold! I waited for her to return to ask for it to be reheated. She never return to ask how we were or if we needed anything, offered no steak sauce. Finally as she walked by my husband asked her for two boxes. She replied “two separate boxes?” We got our boxes went to bar and paid. I bright my food home to eat. This is the second time we have had poor service. There will not be a third.
The food and service was perfect. The atmosphere was a little too dark but other than that I will be back.

Really solid burgers and appetizers. Need more on tap craft beers (maybe something from new Belgium?!)! We love coming here for trivia and bingo.
