Love Little Zagreb. Food is consistently great. Best steak in Bloomington, by far now that Scholar's Inn is no more. Our server was terrific, even though she was very busy. My main gripe is that they accept too many reservations and in decades of visits, I have yet to be seated at my reservation time. I keep coming back however, so I guess I make the choice to wait. Last night was 30 minutes after the reservation time. Sometimes it has been even later. There must be a way to better manage this aspect of the experience. Also, the tables are too close together to comfortably get to the table, especially with a winter coat. Some of the seat cushions on the chairs are torn. The atmosphere is enthusiastic and as I mentioned, the food is really good.

The steak was good. The salad was not a salad. It was like it was greens pulled from a bag at Kroger with a few carrot sticks. The bowl the “salad” was in was cheap plastic that kept tipping over as I tried to eat. The baked potato was served with the tin foil still wrapped around it. It was extremely crowded, chaotic and loud. We were crammed into a small table right next to another couple practically touching them. Even the chair were cheap and uncomfortable. Other than the steak, it was a truck stop with a fancy name!

Janko's didn't disappoint. Salmon and prime rib were both delicious, perfect end to a great day of Hoosier football.

Food and service were excellent. We ordered the sirloin for two which came with two baked potatoes and good sized dinner salads. Prices were reasonable. We had a table right next to door which was extremely close to the next table and not the greatest when people waiting for tables were around the entrance -we had made a last minute reservation so not expecting the greatest table but if you want privacy maybe request a booth. Would return!

We walked in for our daughter's birthday dinner based on so many recommendations. At first I was taken aback by the restaurant when we walked in just because it wasn't what I was expecting....but when the food came out, it calmed all my fears. It was outstanding. I ate the most delicious steak and crab legs on a cheap tablecloth with cheap plates and couldn't care less. This place has prioritized the food and for that, we will be back!

The HUGE burger was requested to be rare. It came closer to well done. Disappointing. It was a busy night, and the cook may have been a bit overwhelmed. Service was very attentive and pleasant. Very loud throughout the restaurant.
