The filet was AMAZING and our food came extremely quick. The service was 10/10 - there was a rude customer who was being rude to us and the staff stood up for us immediately. It was a great experience and I will certainly be back!

Consistently a great experience. Also good value for the high quality steaks. They also have very good wine list at good prices. I am a long term customer and will remain so.

What a fun place! The Croatian meatballs were great: spicy, soft and full of great flavor. Steak was rare as ordered and came with some super grilled asparagus. Nice char from the grill. Our server, Sophie, was amazing. We had a big party and she was attentive, friendly and really helpful. Everyone was sweet and helpful.

We were seated right away as we had reservations. Our server was very nice and overall the food was good but I felt that it was overpriced. The restaurant was very warm and loud. It was Saturday night so I expected the “loud”. I do feel as though we were rushed . We were with friends and we were catching up. We ordered drinks and appetizers but the server was back at our table about every 5 minutes. I believe it's the managers pushing this and not the server. They want to turn tables, which I understand BUT this is a high priced restaurant and we shouldn't be made to feel like we have hurry up with every course. We're talking we were there 1.5 hours...2 at the most. Side note...We ALWAYS tip very well & did as well that evening.

Our food was good but for the price point, it was disappointing. One of our steaks was overcooked. My cut was fairly tough. The ambiance of the restaurant itself is not high-end. It's dark, very crowded, and incredibly noisy. Our service was great, but overall, paying $135 before tip for two meals and two drinks was nowhere near worth the experience we had.

A very pleasant and dependable experience every time we visit. We dined early last evening and therefore the restaurant was quieter than usual. The food is very good and provides outstanding value. The wine list is excellent as well. This is our favorite restaurant in Bloomington.

Has really gone down hill. Wait staff excellent. I couldn't hardly cut my steak "Ribeye" like sawing a log with dull saw. Dead cock roaches in the bathroom. Bathroom was filthy, worn out. Restaurant was just dirty.

Delicious! Food perfectly prepared. Peer in the window and find an unpretentious, local spot. Enjoy a classic meal prepared perfectly that is better than many fancy steak houses. We enjoyed the mushroom soup, steaks, tuna, and sides. Lots of wines to choose from too.

I first dined at Jankos in the early 80's. I am thankful that nothing ever changes. I have always said, if I am ever to be executed, Jankos would be my final meal request.

Fantastic as always. Went out of my comfort zone and ordered the ribeye. (I usually order the filet) The ribeye did not disappoint and was HUGE!! (20 oz) Kudos to all of the staff, polite, attentive, precise, and helpful. They ALL work as a team!!

We love going to Janko's and try to do it once or twice a year. It's expensive but it's so good, the best steaks I've had!

I went here for the first time on my birthday and did not have a good dining experience. The rolls they brought to the table were barely warm and served with hard butter that did not spread easily. I ordered the meatballs, after a recommendation to try them, and they also arrived barely warm - cooler than the rolls. My entree was a porterhouse, cooked medium, which arrived on a plate that was too small to cut into it without being careful. The steak appeared to have been previously cooked and then reheated before being served to me. It was so tough that I had to saw it vigorously with the knife to cut into it. Despite being cooked “medium”, it was very, very red and somehow impossibly dry at the same time. I’ve never seen a steak this dry and of such poor quality since I was a kid and ordered a well-done steak at the Ponderosa buffet. The prices here are very high - which naturally leads to expectations of high quality and standards, but that was not my experience at all. I would not recommend eating here
