Good restaurant, good food, but only allows orders via door dash and not open for takeout as advertised. So I had to pay an extra $8 in door dash fees when I'm literally at the door of the restaurant. That's just upsetting.

Amazing service and best sushi I’ve ever had! Plenty of deep fried rolls and specials offered you don’t find anywhere else. If you’re looking for sushi around Bloomington come here for sure.

I hate having to post this review because when we first found this place, we loved it and ordered sushi once a week, with no complaints. One day when I ordered sushi, the cream cheese tasted spoiled. I returned it and they were great about exchanging it for a fresh one and even gave me an extra roll. They said something about having giving me an old roll (idk if they pre-make them or what). The new one they gave me tasted normal and great. Food spoilage isn't something that should be messed around with, but I get that accidents happen every once in a while. We kept eating there every other month or so and everything was fine. But then tonight we ordered and my cream cheese tasted sour again. This time I just I picked it out of all the rolls because it just wasn't worth going through the hassle of calling, waiting, and driving back there to get my food. If I have experienced sour cream cheese 2 out of 20 times visiting the restaurant, those are pretty bad odds. If they're letting their cream cheese go bad, what does that say about the raw fish I'm eating? It's not worth taking the chance of food poisoning. We just won't go back again.

Food is good. Plan on spending some time in here. They're slow and the staff can be rude. Almost feel like an inconvenience to them. I am yet to get good service here.

Waited 45 minutes and never even got my sushi. My fiance got his tempura relatively quickly, I ordered a 'sushi regular' and we only saw our waiter twice. I had to flag down another staff member to see where my food was and found out that it hadn't even been started yet. I asked if we could have the sushi to go and to get the check and the staff member instead cancelled my sushi order and brought the check without my food on it. This used to be my favorite place for sushi and I'm just so sad with how it's declined in the past year. The staff used to be great but something in management must have changed because it's a totally different environment now. I'm probably not going to come back.

Waited 45 minutes while my food sat getting cold to find out they hadn't even stared making my fiance's food, all the while seating and filling the orders of other groups who were sat after us. Then when we asked for the check they canceled my fiance's order. Never coming back.

Went on a slow Sunday night. Ordered a few of the special rolls. They are super slow and the food totally bland and tasteless. Fish was also of mediocre (at best quality). Staff was friendly and placed is nice, but food honestly just poor.

I believe the name is Mura now. Went in on a Thursday night for dinner. It was my first time trying Korean barbecue. You can pay $15 for dinner or $20 for all-you-can-eat. My friends and I did the $15 portion and we all left full. I honestly don't think I could've eaten more. Our waiter was great. He took his time to explain the whole process and how to cook the meats. We also had so many sides. Our waiter would check in on us frequently, and was very helpful. We had an array of 6 meats, soup, kimchi, seaweed salad, seafood pancakes, spicy cold noodles, romaine leaves, sauces, and more. Great deal and I'm excited to go back now that I know what I'm doing!

This place was never amazing, their food is okay. Service was usually unprofessional and slow. But today was just something else.. they partnered with btown menus on a deal and so obviously many people placed orders for Japonee. I have been waiting for over 2 hours now in a room full of 15 other people for 2 sushi rolls. After someone asked a waiter how long it would take he replied "if you're mad you can leave and get a refund". This has been extremely unprofessional and they should have been prepared to take on this task or not do it at all. Update: 12 hours later my boyfriend and I both have stomach flu- and had stomach pain shortly after eating dinner. Be careful if you eat here, something was definitely up with their raw fish last night.

I ordered take out online at 5:46pm to get their $0.01 spicy tuna roll deal. Got there at 6:10pm and gave my confirmation number. I sat until 7:10pm waiting for a spicy salmon, salmon, and a spicy tuna roll. I found out there was only 1 guy making sushi on a day with a sushi deal... The waiter/host kept walking into the waiting room to ask and try to memorize peoples' order numbers and who ordered the spicy tuna roll. Then a second waitress came in to check how many of us ordered the spicy tuna or other dishes. After another 30 mins, I got my order, but it only had 1 packet of soy sauce and no Wasabi or ginger. I really think they need to be more organized before they do something like this. They also need to have better customer service. Like at least apologize, offer water, or say thank you.. For $5 sushi rolls, I've definitely had much better. It's pretty equivalent to cafeteria or grocery store sushi. I definitely wouldn't go back for it.

My friend and I placed an order through Btown menus 2 hours ago for pick up and it's still not ready. They have only one person cooking and the waiter was rude when I asked where the food was.
